Are any of the Action Boyz watching “Chapelwaite?” As a fellow Stephen King freak, I recommend this series. Maybe a return to form for Adrien Brody—a great choice for the Captain Boone character. Has anyone revisited the short story “Jerusalem’s Lot” from Night Shift? Chapelwaite is a pretty accurate adaptation as far as I can remember. Note: it’s streaming on Epix, which I hadn’t heard of either. Available through Amazon.

Have the boyz read any of the books in the Wild Cards series? I like the grittier, "low fantasy" take on the superhero genre. The audiobooks are also great, with some appearances by actionboyz favs. Clancy Brown makes an especially menacing performance that really stuck with me.

saw Soldier in theater back in the day with a couple buddies, summer between junior high and high school I think.. we were the only ones in the theater, I had to piss so being young and dumb and alone in the theater I pissed in the popcorn bucket and slid it under my seat. As I left, the seat of course flips up(I had not thought of this) and spills the piss bucket, I stepped out of the way unsplattered but the first day of high school I was bullshitting with this girl about crap we did over summer break and she was like "THAT WAS YOU?! MY SISTER IS THE MANAGER OF THAT THEATER" ..in hindsight, having worked at a truck stop where truckers leave milk jugs full of piss on the gas pumps, it's way better that the piss bucket spilled and drained down vs someone having to pick it up and dump it out

Pain relief question for the boyz. As the Stanger of my friends, I have been in pain since I hung up both the Cleats and the Singlet in 2007. After years of struggling to pick up my kids I just started going to a chiropractor. I know Stanger just told that story of that girl getting her neck snapped. Unsolicited movie recommendation: STRANGER ON THE RUN (1967). Great TV western directed by Don Siegel starring Henry Fonda as the titular stranger who comes to a railroad town and starts to ask questions about a local woman who recently disappeared. All points to a revenge situation but there's a twist... Typically lean direction by Siegel, but first and foremost recommended because one of the gunslingers chasing Fonda, played by Michael Parks, simply HAS TO be the blueprint for the part that Leo plays in the western within the film in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD.
