Obviously when fighting in that kind of environment you want just the bare minimum (sometimes less). Looks like her drone is a spotter unit of some kind, lets her get a good view of key targets, weak points, or finding better tactical positions. The equipment on her head definitely suggests she should be able to relay information with her team real quick and effectively. Obviously she could also be a drone controller as well. What could be interesting is if she uses that for early threat detection, sorta like a pathfinder. Or maybe the drone has a laser based point defense system.
