Star of Hope (Part-3)+9 ver in PM

Hi all.

I am a big fan of writing something in the description of my works, because I am sure that art should speak for itself, and it is better for the artist to remain silent. Offending someone at the present time is easier than breathing. I decided to do a little analysis of my own work for self-reflection.

This is the third part of my New Year's series on the character Rudolf. Every year it has been somewhat transformed depending on the time and my level of drawing.

I think this version is atypical for me, because, in part, it reflects my state of mind now - Broken, almost broken, but still, waiting for a miracle and hope.

The center of the composition is of course a character, you are familiar with him. But he's a little older, scars are visible, and his sled is worn out, although his feet are still good, right? :)

  But I do not want to make it deliberately "muscular" as many artists do. My task is to convey hope and a little sexuality 😉

The next part is the background.

In part, I was inspired by the work of Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin "In the Wild North"

In the upper left corner, there is a hunched lone tree, as a symbol of what happened this year.

At the same time, on the right - the moon, a sign of hope and a sign of mystery (we do not know what will happen next) and warmer shades of color.

The year was terrible. I wish you to leave it behind, and remember that all of us, no matter where we are, no matter what we believe in, we remain people. Life is too short to waste it hating each other.

I wish you to remain human and believe in a brighter future.
