HUGE UPDATE NEWS: ExperiArch - NeoForge [1.21.1], Medievalism and Omniarch

Hey everyone! It has been a bit quiet from my side for a while and I hope you had an amazing summer. I surely did spending it in Japan again exploring many so many places. Along with that I was super busy with other projects so I have a lot to talk about and I needed some time to think what direction I should take with my ExperiArch mod.

Don't worry, I'm bringing another update next month as usual.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ExperiArch

As you may know there has been quite a number of reported cases of people failing to load the mod. Now I'm sure many do not read and follow the instructions provided, however there's a substantial number of users who can't run it due to their hardware limitations. Sadly 16GB of RAM just isn't currently enough anymore to load it since the models take the majority. About 12-13GB peak has been recorded with both Modern Archviz and ExperiArch load with x256 which means the whole machine has only 3GB left for a short period of time to run the whole operating system and that in many cases is not enough, and ends up with a crash. The system simply runs out of memory.

If you have more than 16GB currently you should have no problem loading in with the method I provided in the latest [Download] posts. But things are got a bit complicated from a user perspective, especially from a new users.
This made me think for a while to try and find solutions but there currently isn't many alternatives as Minecraft community mods got divided into many very potential alternatives but none so far bring a full package.

However, with recent tests I was able to make it work on:

This makes it work very well, better and faster in fact and follows a much more modern and optimally scripted engines.

There still is one drawback on some of my ExperiArch models and that is the ones that use transparency in textures (mainly foliage). I have reported this to Sodium developer and will continue to work with them so we resolve this issue for everyone.

Here's a little screenshot of the issue. The rest of the models look fine as you see in the header image above.

So now I'm left with three solutions:

I would like to go on with NeoForge anyways since it holds the future when it comes to advanced graphical mods like mine and will most likely focus on 3rd option to keep the margin wide enough for the future updates.

Special thanks to ArandomHitman, LaterTazor and others for taking care of the community and helping me with testing and possible solutions. They have done so much for this community and we all need to thank them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Medievalism

On the other hand I released a first version of the project I've been working on for a while aside called Medievalism. I want to pour and bring all skills in that I've learned throughout my modding journey, to produce the most hyper-realistic medieval Minecraft mod out there.
I want this project to be separate from this one because it is based in a completely different environment design-wise.

This is still a very early version but I have many very interesting updates planned.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Omniarch

Me and my team are closing in to finally announce our project that I've been sharing screenshots of and talked about every now and then. The development has been going on for more than 4 years in secret and we have come a long way, all thanks to your help with your generous donations towards my Minecraft mods.

I cannot disclose anything more than a name and a logo until we start publishing, but I can say that it is around the corner. A lot of presentations, a website and other plans have to be done prior, but the Alpha version of the product is ready as we speak.

I will let you know in the following months and I will dedicate an entire post (or more) about it. It's something I've always wanted to do and I'm sure it will be interesting to many of you, since you came here with a passion towards architecture.

That's it for now, thank you for continuous pledges even without my updates for the past two months and I hope to see you next month, also with my new update!

Stay awesome guys,

NeoForge is Forge, the developers changed after 1.21.1. Please join my Discord and address the issues you're experiencing there.

Don't lie! Rather than improving optimization, it's gotten worse for gaming. The texture is weird and the color is weird. Change to FORGE right now, please
