A Question About Crediting

How do you feel about being publicly accredited?
Granted, it's obviously the right thing to credit those who've contributed to a work, and I've credited those who directly funded the continuation of Flora-Fauna-Fen SURVIVE and Infurlation Redux in the past. But I grew up in a different era of the internet, in which most people weren't so ready to ascribe themselves so freely.
It's taking me a while to get used to it. So, my question is, when I reach a credits page, or want to publicly thank my Patrons via an Anniversary piece or something (sorry I didn't produce one last year), would you be cool with being listed publicly?

The way I've seen other creators do it is to keep an opt out list for this sort of thing. Judging from the polls it would be a relatively shortish list.
