Another Update

Hello again and thanks for waiting.

I’m glad to announce the hardware upgrade was successful, so I’ll be continuing work from Monday 20th. The recent heat wave rather disrupted my sleeping patterns and my brain is running on fumes, catastrophising and going into some dark places.

The free time yesterday made me seriously think about what my game plan is for July 2022.

So as annoying as it is, I think I’ll have to pause this account again because I haven’t met my self-imposed demands – granted, 17 plus(?) images in 19 days (I’m counting the comics) isn’t exactly small fry but still…

Also, given the upcoming brother birthday thing, there are some familial things I’ve wanted to sort out for a while, so I’ll be taking a few days off in July meaning there will be no artwork the latter end of the month. It’s no big drama per se, but the last few months have rather hit home about how one should be circumspect.

Perhaps it’s tiredness talking but as in a few years, my own big 4-0 approaches, I wonder whether I can keep this career going. It’s hard not to look at other examples and deem one’s self as failing in being a fine-upstanding citizen of the world (whatever that means).

Oh well. In terms of practicalities, I’ll use the extra few weeks between now and this time next month to catch up on fulfilling the commitments but with the bonus of them being free of charge.

Maybe it’s unwise, or some other negative synonym, but that’s where we are at the moment. You Patrons deserve the truth.
