Another heavy page which was initially written to determine what the relationship status was between the three, and how things are presently. Fret not; this isn’t going to turn into some drama story. Still, better to let the cat out of the bag, right? Do you think Bo is right?
In any event, Thank you again for supporting this story throughout the year, I don’t know if I can produce another page before year’s end as I got a bunch of other things that need to be done, and these pages take me a while to put together. So yeah, see you in the new year with the next page!

- The Dragon of Dreams and Kindness: Spoofing the Studio Ghibli documentary film by Mami Sunada, The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness. It followed the turbulent production of Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises and Isao Takahata’s The Tale of Princess Kaguya.
- 早い!!うまい!!安い!! 吉牛屋: Translates as ‘Hayai!! Umai!! Yasui!!' ("Quick!! Cheap!! Yummy!!") the slogan for the Japanese fast-food chain Yoshinoya 4071;野家, famous for its beef bowls, or 牛丼 gyūdon. It featured prominently in the wrestling animated show of the 1980s, キン肉マン Kinnikuman (Muscle Man) as the titular character’s favourite food. You may be more familiar with the sequel series of the 2000s, adapted in English as Ultimate Muscle.
- Rowdy Mann: A mash-up of this creature and the former WWE Wrestler, Macho Man Randy Savage.
- Slamshark: An unsubtle reference to a character in this recent-at-the-time-of-posting this (December 2021) certain movie… It’s supposed to be my take on this by the way, with his poorly drawn opponent being this.
- “So not the drama”: Something the titular character of this early 2000s show said.
- Play your cards right: An idiom that’s in fact a reference to the 歌ガルタuta-garuta (or poetry karuta)-centric Chihayafuru.
