Added 2019-08-17 10:28:17 +0000 UTCFirst of all, a great big thank you to all those well-wishers who gave me their best regards yesterday. It was a far busier birthday than I expected.
I will be finishing the Bear With updates next week, as well as this month’s Flawed Fealty Furtherance pages. The title pages for the galleries are taking me way longer than I expected. I'm not sure if I shouldn't just collate stuff in a gallery regardless and go "there!".
To be honest, the whole Gallery implantation rather messed up my plans for this month so I’ve given up on opening commissions for now just to try and keep pace with everything.
Secondly, I’d like to apologise for what seems like the annual existentialism crisis. I shouldn’t let one individual’s criticisms (some of which are kinda justified, don't get me wrong) destroy my modus operandi or lead me to second-guess everything I do or say. That’s not to say I don’t want to hear your feedback, following this journal and all. I really do want to hear your thoughts on whether there’s anything I can improve upon (that is practical and not just me apeing certain people one happens to like).
As I keep saying, you Patrons are my lifeblood and I couldn’t do this without your kindness and generosity. Thank you to those who say I’m doing okay so far, really grateful for it. Please keep steering me in the right direction.
And that’s about it. I don’t know if other people with Patreon do “personalised thank you doodles” or what not, but it’s something I’ll consider doing – I haven’t done one in a long time really.
