16th August 2019 (or Halp!)

Writing this early morning on my birthday, and fighting off what I suspect is an oncoming cold.

In short, I do wonder if I'm doing the right thing on here - call it a coincidence since the previous night I was watching something about a character desperately trying to impress someone else (as a means of trying to resolve their father issues) - but ...

Sometimes I wonder if I've been so long in the furry thing, that I've completely forgotten what things may look like from an outsider perspective.  Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely thankful for those people who have supported me long-term and put up with my ideosyncrasises.   Thank you so much for being the backbone of my economy and steering me right.

But something that was brought up when I went to visit a friend was my lack of... presence, marketability if you will.  Some recent feedback about a comic rather hammered the point home quite hard.   It's like I'm blind to an outsider perspective.   I don't know what people want or expect, and it's hard at the best of times for me to "read the air" (pick up on social cues), even moreso given how the innernet is what it is and all.

So TL;DR:  What would you want from me on Patreon?

I must be doing something somewhat right given Patreon's been working out pretty darn well for me the past two and a bit years as a living.  But I'd like more feedback.

I don't want to do the skeevy thing of taking commissions and only posting them up on Patreon, or doing raffles or playing favourites, which leads to all sort of drama.

I guess I'm just looking for .... guidance, really.  It's all very well to subscribe and then unsubscribe, free will and all.  But if I'm doing something wrong or not doing something, at least let me know so I can implement in future, that's all.

Still, thank you to all those people who have supported me long-term and such.  And to newcomers who have stuck around, thank you for joining.

Seriously couldn't do any of this without you, so let's make this work together.

Yours kindly,

'Kam
