Poll for Laras hairstyle
Added 2024-05-03 03:54:01 +0000 UTCMade these different hairstyles over the last month which still are wip and without dynamics.
Need to add that the final decision of hairstyle will also depend on technical stuff, like if it can be simulated.
It was good practice to dive into this matter, since it was really annoying to depend on hairstyles from others.
Full renders in same folder as the wip intro walk animation.
As side note: Will also redo Laras skin. Dont know why it looks so flat...

Aha! That makes sense about adapting her hairstyle. Still right now I feel like we need the content more :D. Hopefully in time you can create different simulated hairstyles that we can move between.

2024-05-03 10:31:11 +0000 UTCThanks man. Actually im aiming for a hairstyle that fits her outfit and the scenery, which is seducing a college boy. Her outfit is a mixture of college girl and teacher/prof. To me her current hair is more her adventurer style, thats why i had the idea of creating a new one. But it looks like the original hair won anyway, so will use that for this episode.

Honestly for Lara I really like her original ponytail, but I really love 2 with that gold band in her hair. 2 seems like something I would love to see on her if you move her into a more fancy setting. Like wearing a long dress/gown at a fancy party, or maybe even in the club. Also if any of these require extra work, I'd say that reinforce the need to keep the original. I'd love more content before any cosmetic changes... Anyway she looks great, good job.

2024-05-03 07:34:08 +0000 UTCThere is no need to specifically animate the hair spreading. You can cut the scene directly during the "transformation" and let Lara's hair spread out when you come back.

2024-05-03 06:44:41 +0000 UTC1 is the best, followed by 4, but if you want to do a hairstyle, 1 feels like you need to add some interaction with the hair to make it feel good. With hairstyle 4, Lara only needs to spread her hair to look sexy. Loose hair can look wilder
