Hello everyone, here is the animation for this month featuring Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann.

Now I haven't watched the show before but I did skim through the first 8 or so episodes when planning what to draw. Additionally, a few of the animators I look up to have drawn Yoko in the past so I'm glad to have the opportunity to draw her as well.

I decided to take inspiration from some of my older works for this one in terms of lighting and position, I think it turned out pretty well. It was also a nice change of pace to fully include both characters on the shot instead of the focus being centered on the girl. Unfortunately, while the Kamina and Yoko ship didn't make it very far in the show, I like to think that is what it would have come to if they had a few more episodes together.

With regards to the short, I had to make a number of changes to scene five and as a result, it's only about halfway done at the moment. I'll try to have it finished in the next two weeks. This might end up becoming a recurring theme here.

Lastly, I'd like to welcome all the new patrons who pledged this month. I hope you are all enjoying the content so far.
