Here’s a quick proof of concept piece if you will. Freebird is a skilled martial artist and gymnast who is determined to protect the people of her beloved country. Despite her lack of powers she is granted status as a reserve member of the Heroine League. When a strange meteorite impacts near her town, she is dispatched to investigate. The radiation from the strange rock has an unexpected (well, maybe not to us) effect on the young heroine, and she suddenly finds herself with true super powers and a renewed desire to battle America’s enemies from without… and within. But will her new urge to punish cause her to lose sight of her original mission—to protect? Either way, beware… the Red Rager!
