Update 36

- added following item textures:
bone meal, blaze powder, coca beans, chorus fruit, popped chorus fruit, phantom membrane, shulker shell, end crystal, firework star, banner pattern, saddle, all music discs, redstone repeater, redstone comparator, dried kelp, honeycomb, pufferfish, bucket of pufferfish, ink sac, nautilus shell (4)
- changed all of the items with custom placeholder 3d models to 2d item texture (except armors) (4)
- added cattail plants for seagrass in any jungle or swamp biomes above y=62 (2)
- changed the natural terracotta textureset (2)
- greatly optimized wool, terracotta, concrete, and concrete powder texture usage (1,2)
- made flowing lava animation 3 times smoother (1)
- changed sugarcanes to biome-tinted (1)
- various changes and fixes (1,2,3,4)

This is the FINAL 1.16 release!! I'll start working on 1.17 versions next
Any gold tier and above supporters can access the work-in-progress channel on my patron discord for early 1.17 versions, otherwise it'll be released next month as usual.

All item textures as of 1.16 are now done!! (except horse armors and turtle helmet because those requires mob textures made first)

I've greatly optimized the wool, carpet, terracotta, concrete, and concrete powder texture usage by switching them to use shared texturesets with custom tints, cutting down around 944 textures. But it also adds a new required setting for my pack to work correctly, check the instructions below for reference. You also need to redownload basic/addon/bonus pack for them to work correctly with each other.

The new smoother animation for flowing lava might have some performance impact, feel free to leave some feedbacks.

Added a small swamp scene and a water mill build in the texture test map.

The "basic" pack need to be loaded at the bottom (just above default pack), and the optional packs can be loaded on top in any order.

The texture resolution for "basic", "addon", and "bonus" pack need to match each other for pathtracing to work properly, but you can use whatever res you like for the "items" and "models" pack.

The extra grass in the "models" pack works best with SEUS PTGI HRR and "Smooth Lighting" option disabled. Otherwise I don't recommend using the "models" pack.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each optional pack to see detail descriptions of what they add, or how to remove unwanted features in the "models" pack.

!! Don't try the 256x versions unless you have >48GB of RAM+VRAM !!


Make sure these settings are set correctly, or else the textures will get messed up:


Optionally could download the block properties file included in the download link and use it to overwrite the same file inside SEUS PTGI shaderpack.
The file adds several fixes, and makes ore crystals glow if you enable "glowing redstone block" or makes the bonus pack scifi panels glow if you enable "glowing emerald block" in the shader options.

I never got why people are always saying such things. I mean if you go that route then literally everything is a copy of everything. For Example then Misa would have "stolen" the idea of making a Texturepack or Game Of Thrones would have "stolen" the middle ages. This reasoning doesn't make much sense. Using existing things and expanding on them is how nearly all our creative media works.

My lava looks weird while standing still. It fixes itself when it starts flowing

lol no, I've had that idea for several months now. I've always wanted some biome-specific plant texture for sugarcane ever since I saw what conquest did with theirs in 1.7.10, which is why I added it in my list of potential ideas that I made when I started adding biome-specific textures to my pack. But I never had the motivation/chance to actually do it because it's hard to do such things when I'm using custom 3d models for sugarcanes limiting the potential shapes. Then one day when I was looking for ideas in the dokucraft pack, I saw that they assigned cattail plants to seaweeds, so I just reused the tallgrass texture, made the tips thicker and brown, and assigned it to seaweeds instead of sugarcane. It had nothing to do with misa, at most I should credit conquest+dokucraft. But then it's just a common/generic idea that can be found in a lot of the old/classic creative packs, imo it's not really "copying" anymore. Plus I'm using my own texture and my own custom model for it. And I actually haven't really used misa for quite some time because I thought it was abandoned, my inspiration mostly came from conquest, plus some from doku/cubed/mizunos/cocricot.

You open the shader pack (hrr 2.1) then go in the first folder and you should see a block.properties file delete it and then paste in the new one

Contents in the addon pack look more or less the same as the original vanilla block textures, or at least they won't interfere with it. Contents in the bonus pack look way too different from original vanilla block textures, and also for dumping extra textures that I don't know where to assign them to. Check the "features list" text file included in each pack for reference on what they add.

Awesome pack, thank you for the easy access and making it 64x! I haven't seen anything about it anywhere, but there is a problem with the iron ores appearing black. Any way to fix this? Everything else seems fine.

Texture for birch stairs and slabs do not match planks with connected textures on. Planks look correct. With connected textures off it looks correct of course the grass then has text on it...

I tried launching the 256 pack and the game opened but it's at one FPS, but my cpu and gpu usage are both below 40%. Am I doing something wrong with the pack/Minecraft settings? Also I have a rtx 3060 mobile, 32gb ram, and i7 10750H.

You read it wrong, I said I only recommend using the models pack if you're using seus ptgi hrr, because with other shaders it often causes weird shading. So if you were to use it with other shader, it's best to remove the individual features inside the models pack that looks weird, or just straight up don't use the models pack at all.

What is the average fps with your 3080 on 256x? Because I am also using rtx 3080, but on 128x version with SEUS and getting like 30 fps

Question, I'm trying the 256x variant on a 3080 with 10gb vram. It's still maxing out vram usage and crashing instantly and I have all of the optifine and seus shader settings correct. What could be the cause?

Hi Patrix, I found 1 texture that it's not working on ver1.17 (I know it's not intended for that version) it's something that I'm not expecting to happened. If you try to place a cauldron on 1.17 the texture is missed, the funny part, if you fill it at any level with any liquid that is allowed (water or lava), then the the right texture is shown. I already downloaded 3 times all of it the 4 files, just to be sure, and I think it's the only texture not showing on 1.17 It's just for inform you, I'm not claiming.

Really... Have no idea what is the problem, since ptgi hrr 2.x I been having a lot of issues with SEUS (all versions). And I know I'm not the only one. By the way I can run your 256 version with no problems...
