Smol Update 28

- changed tudor frame white plaster texture to double diorite slab and removed biome restrictions
- added tudor frame yellow plaster texture for double smooth sandstone slab
- added tudor frame mud texture for double granite slab

- added potion shelves texture for double oak slab

- added candles model+texture for dry sea pickles
- added wooden wheels model for short piston heads
- added moss texture for lime terracotta in any dark forest, jungle, and swamp biomes
- added oak table texture for scaffolding in any plains, forest, flower forest, birch forest, dark forest, taiga, snowy tundra, ice spikes, and mountains biomes
- added animal fur texture for light gray and brown wool/carpet in any taiga, snowy tundra, ice spikes, and mountains biomes
- changed palm tree texture
- changed mayan hieroglyphs texture tiling method
- changed sugar cane texture to slightly darker *
- changed cobblestone/mossy cobblestone top texture slightly *
- changed barrel texture slightly *
- changed jungle biome tint to slightly darker *
- changed cactus model to slightly thinner *


Most changes are in the "addon" pack, except the ones marked with * are in the "basic" pack.

All the new tudor blocks and shelves are assigned to double slabs so original full blocks are still available and shouldn't affect gameplay that much.

You can only get the new wooden wheel model for short piston head via commands, debug stick, or worldedit, the actual piston still looks the same. Use "/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:piston_head[short=true]" to get the block, and you can toggle the placement by switching between normal/sticky variant using debug stick.

Reverted the jungle log palm tree texture back to old version, but the middle and top part of jungle wood sides still uses the original spiky version.

Uploaded converted 32x version of the "addon" and "bonus" pack to the download folder.

Added some small fixes to the block properties file, please redownload it again.

I've also updated my texture testing world to 1.16 with some new buildings, you can download it here (can be loaded with any 1.16 versions):

The texture resolution for "basic", "addon", and "bonus" pack need to match each other for pathtracing to work properly, but you can use whatever res you like for the "items" and "models" pack.

The extra grass in the "models" pack works best with SEUS PTGI HRR and "Smooth Lighting" option disabled.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each optional pack to see detail descriptions of what they add, or how to remove unwanted features in the "models" pack.

!! Don't try the 256x versions unless you have plenty of RAM/VRAM !!


Make sure these settings are set correctly, or else the textures will get messed up:


Optionally could download the block properties file included in the download link and use it to overwrite the same file inside SEUS PTGI shaderpack.
The file adds several fixes, and makes ore crystals glow if you enable "glowing redstone block" or makes the bonus pack scifi panels glow if you enable "glowing emerald block" in the shader options.

Tudor blocks seem to work fine other than being able to keep the block on bottom with wood. Every block below one of the box looking tudor blocks goes to a straight version. So, in the house you've shown is no replicable. Cant keep that block on the bottom of the house as a box version if you know what I mean.

Whihch shader do I need to download In particular for the Patrix texture pack because some textures aren't working while others are because I bought the guy who's shader pack you recommended to use but I don't know which one is compatible with 1.16.5.

I have found out that it's the connected textures that are causing the problem. I'm normally getting stable 60fps with the PTGI shaders and a 256x res texture pack, and even with this pack with connected textures turned off. With connected textures on though, I'm only getting 20 fps, especially in forests. I am running on an i7 9700K overclocked to 5.2GHz and a 2080. Is there something I am missing, or is my PC just not powerful enough?

Could you please use like Google Drive or something. Media Fire is BS and forces you to upgrade to premium, eventhough you're only downloading 1 folder

My 2070 super and 3700x easily get 70 fps with ultra BSL shaders and 128x res and in hard to run areas, so i'm surprised that your getting such low fps. Even when I try the PTGI shaders im still getting 40 fps in difficult areas. Let me know if you find a fix and what you did.

I absolutely love this pack BUT I am having the same issues with Hank Tupper. The load time is crazy. I have died to Zombie while waiting to see. MORE IMPORTANT: My FPS while using the 128bit pack and the shaders is only 20-25. I normally use 512 packs with shaders and hit framerates of 200+. I am using two 1080ti cards SLI and have followed all your instructions. Any suggestions? Is there a Discord where this is discussed?

You can disable those messages by turning off "video settings > other > show gl errors". Also my pack is probably using ten times or more textures than a typical resourcepack due to all the extra textures, plus most "high end" texture packs don't even have all blocks completed.

you've got to click the folder that has the files you want to download, then move the cursor to the right side of the page and click the upside down triangle. This will have download as an option which will take you to the file's download page. You have to do this for each file individually if you don't want to create an account.

@Mine_Ani You can download it, just create a free account and once you've done that and are logged in and back on the download page for the texture pack, right click on the folder and click on "Copy folder to..." and select one of the folders in your mediafire account 'Files', then go to your 'Files' tab and Open up the folders until you get to the individual files and download them. (Its a lot to just download it but you can do it).

Tree Leaf textures aren't working for me. I've tired both the 32x and the 128x versions. Also checked in the settings and can't see where it might be messing it up. (all setting listed in post are correct) Thank you for any help!

The bug with snow falls is something on your end, try reading the instructions in this post again or redownload the pack As for untextured item icons, it's intended, because this pack is mainly focused on creative building with survival gameplay as bonus.

im having trouble with some of my textures, when snow falls on a block both the snow and the block texture revert back to vanilla minecraft textures, also many of the items when looking at it in the inventory have vanilla minecraft textures. is this done purposely or is this something that need to be fixed on my part?

I have the same setup as you and I get ~60 fps, make sure you have the recommended settings set correctly, allocate 3~4gb of memory in the launcher, and maybe restart game after you applied the settings and resourcepack.

Sorry Patrix, but your ressource pack is not working. Minecraft cannot load your ressource pack. I'm running newest version of optinfine and just tried the 256 version. It would be nice if you could fix that.

Hey guys im having problems such as broken reflections on metal surfaces, Im using Seus Renewed shaderspack. I cannot use the correct shaders as I have an AMD video card. Is there a way to fix this problem? (Also bed and chest skins are same as vanilla is it normal?)

This looks absolutely AMAZING with SEUS! I do get performance issues though when using the 128 version. (I have to run it in 720p to get stable 30fps with a gtx 1650...) It still is amazing. I hope you do decide to make a 64 version. I think many people would be grateful for it. 32 is fine but 64 would be perfect for a lot of us. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Oh I used to modify the shader to make those blocks glow so I could place different colored lights around to test lighting, but that's not included in the block properties file I've uploaded. You can modify it yourself by adding those concrete blocks to blocks that normally would light up like glowstone/sea lanterns....etc in the block properties file.

Hey, quick question. In your Resource Pack Test World there are rooms with red, lime and light blue concrete. Should the blocks light up or why are these blocks in the rooms.

I've considered making connected textures for various blocks before, just haven't got enough motivation to do so yet. As for custom 3d bookshelves, I've tried it back when I was making textures for bookshelves, and it restricts the texture method I could use way too much, plus some other technical difficulties, that's why I end up using 2d textures instead.

You can also insert alternative textures so that if you rename a block of wood in the anvil, for example, you get the alternative texture.

I actually wanted to share some recommendations for some of the decoration blocks: - Connected textures for example for crafting tables, furnaces, cartography table, as well as beds, to make them seem larger when placing more than 1 of them. - And 3d design or model for the bookshelves.
