Rebrand Ahoy!

Over the last month I've been working to consolidate my presence on dA.  I've stopped updating my SASart-72 account, and started transferring some of that art to the site currently known as ProjectQKArchives.  Starting tomorrow, that site will be known as QK_Studios, with a new icon (that isn't an eye) and a new banner showing both some my heroes and some of my lady monsters.  The general art will headline, with the transformation art in its own sections, and things that run down the middle like some of my She-Hulk fan art, She-Wolf, and the Lunateers bridging the middle.  Going forward, this will be where I send people who ask if have any art online.  

I quite like the icon--t can be customized with different colors to suit different characters--the She-Wolf, Galaxy Girl, CroMagna, WereWing, Battle Duck--even Halloween and Christmas!  We're starting with this one because that's the character the QK is named for.

It's a little risky, combining my mainstream stuff with the TF stuff.  But there's no denying that the TF stuff is a big part of what I do, and I think some of it can even have more mainstream appeal.  I keep my stuff PG-13 and below for a reason, you know? Besides, trying to keep trakc of two site was time consuming and expensicve.

dA's not an ideal platform these days, I grant you.  There's a lot of people just posting scans and screencaps of comics they like and a ton of AI generated art.  (I remember when dA had medium categories, like paint, digital, or photo--we could use that again for sure).  Many of the pro artists I used to find there have moved on to Tumblr and then Instagram.  And there's been accusations that they've been farming artwork posted there to train AI art generators, so that's fun.  But no other platform I've found gives you the display and organizational options this does, and it does seem to be most of the traffic here comes from there, so I will continue on for now.

Speaking of which, let's be clear:  This is still the BEST place to see my artwork.  Unless something super topical comes up (Like the passing of Kevin Conroy) pretty much all of my art will be posted here first, and only here at full res.  Fan art will go up a month in advance, as will completed commissions.  My OC art for my comic characters will be up here for at least three months in advance.  The non-commission transformation stuff will be up for at least a year before migrating there, and some of it may not migrate at all.  So stick around, there's a lot more good stuff to come!
