Julie Kim—Valentine’s 2023

I was moving at a good clip with this but then on Sunday I had highlighted her head to add details like the face and hair and somehow managed to crop the whole image down to her head and shoulders. Since I was zoomed in, I didn’t notice the error until I had saved it that way with no going back. Fortunately I did have the full original pencils which I had shared with the Legionnaires earlier so I used that as a starting point to reconstruct the whole thing.
Anyway, it’s tradition on Valentine’s Day to post a drawing of one of my female characters in a pretty red dress. Julie Kim won 2022’s favorite character poll by a landslide—no one else came close—so I decided to give her the spotlight! Julie’s many fans will be pleased to know we’ll be likely beseeing some more Julie action this year!
