Weekend Pinup: MCU Betty
Added 2022-09-12 10:01:03 +0000 UTCI love that the Hulk portion of the MCU franchise has been getting some love finally. It started back with Civil War when William Hurt’s Thunderbolt Ross showed up as an unlikely Secretary of State. Then we had Tim Roth as a more comic accurate Abomination in Shang Chi. Even Edward Norton’s Banner got a little nod in a way that only a show like She-Hulk Attorney At Law can do. That same show has of course also expanded the Hulk corner of the universe by adding Tatiana Maslany’s Jen Walters and indicating big things may still be in store for Mark Ruffalo’s Banner. Finally, this past weekend, it was confirmed that after 14 years the tease involving Tim Blake Nelson’s Samuel Sterns would finally pay off and he would appear as the Leader—as the villain in the next Captain America movie no less!
There’s only one major cast member missing, short of an animated appearance in an alternate reality alongside Ruffalo’s Banner—Betty Ross. I don’t care if she’s Red She-Hulk or Harpy or just Betty, or if she’s played by Live Tyler, Jennifer Connelly, or someone new. We just need to finally catch up with Bruce’s long lost love.
