Weekend PinUp and Updates for the next few weeks

Hi gang--I just wanted to touch base on where we're going these next couple of weeks.

As you can imagine,  I am thrilled to have completed the two biggest project of my entire art career. and I thank all of you who hung in there over the last 2+ years while I slogged through them.  I've been seeing some new faces popping up both on the patron list and in the comments, and to you also I say welcome and thank you!

Obviously I'm stoked to have my slate clean and to get rolling on the next chapter.  However, frustratingly, my momentum is going to be disrupted the next few weeks.  I still have that day job, and as those of you who've been around for awhile may remember, January is one of the busy months.  I work a closing shift that lets me usually come in a little later in the morning, and so I've developed the habit of getting up early and getting some drawing in before those shifts begin, but for the next two weeks I'm going to be working some longer days that will certainly cut in to that time,  I've got a few things in the late stages of production so I'm hoping there'll be some material to post, but the pace is going to slow down a bit from how it's been the last month or so.

I am determined to not let this keep me from being derailed in the long run, so here's my plan.  My main focus will be on one final commission from my backlog that I've been working on.  Next weekend I hope to put together a new commission pricelist and get the ball rolling on that again.  I also hope to check in here to reveal some of the projects I have in the pipeline.  The other big focus is the first full moon pinup which is well under way and due for release on the 17th.

In the meantime, keep an eye on the Lens feature if you haven't already.  I'm trying to post some WIP teaser images there to keep you entertained between finished projects.  So watch out for those!

Finally, here's one of those designs I get in my head and can't rest until it's on paper.  She's a princess from some fantasy realm (somewhat anime influenced) who's cursed to become a beast under the first full moon after her coming of age.  The plan has simply been to lock her away (in a comfortable room in a tower, of course) on each full moon night to prevent the activation of the curse.  However, on one of those nights her castle is attacked and the plan may start to unravel.  No shading on this yet because I'm not 100 set on the color scheme, but I thought it's be fun to share.

And now I'm off--my wife has a very rare weekend off, and we're going to make the most of it by celebrating a delayed Christmas alone.  And I hear she's up... so it's time for me to get off of this thing and start our weekend!  (This is one interruption I don't mind!)
