So my plan for this year’s Halloween Project is a phased approach. It’s an eight page sequence, anchored by four pinups and supplemented with 4 comic pages to fill in details and a bit of a story. The idea is to prioritize the pinups and then fill in with the pages as I am able. Most of this is planned to debut during the full moon cycle in October, but I want the first pinup ready to kick off the month. I’ve had the inks, flats, and background done for awhile, but before I add shading I wanted to get the first page, which is the most essential as it sets up the premise, flatted so that I could use as a reference for the rest of the sequence. MIssion accomplished! Now I just have to render the first pinup and I’ll be on schedule. The focus will then will be on rendering the other pinups and finishing the pencils on the other three pages.
The flatted page one (technically page two of the whole sequence is below for those who don’t mind too much being shown early!
