Had a rough accident last month, ended up breaking my collarbone, knee a few more things. Finally, I've got my new phone, so I'm updating from here.

I'm not yet home (still admitted), so no PC access, and my Discord/Twitter has 2FA (using MS Authenticator, and transferring that data to a new phone has been... difficult to say the least), so I can't log in at the moment :(

As for Acq, well, it's on hold for now. I need some time and I’m very sorry for that. Thanks for understanding!

As many of you know or might have observed, I've not been active these past 5-6 days on my discord or any social.
Last Sunday I had to rush to my family home as one of my close relatives was admitted to ICU. Sadly she didn't survive and died due to kidney failure on Tuesday night.

We are already at 90+ patrons!! Crazy, right?
Many also helped spread the word across different servers and forums, which increased our reach by a lot. You guys are the best!!

I might be able to secure a 3090 sooner than I thought, maybe even a 40XX series.

This means better renders!! better animations!! better music!! better everything!! in the following chapters. I can't thank y'all enough <3

Feedbacks:

I went through almost all the feedback/reviews I received. They all were very constructive and helpful, to say the least. A few things I noted down going forward:

1. Animation size/bitrate: Animations now got a very (very) high bitrate, causing them to stutter on low-spec machines. I'll try to bring that down in future updates.
2. Naming saves: This is something I think should've been there in Ch. 1 itself, but I'll try to implement it by the next release.
3. All girls look the same, Lynn looks too young for her age: Umm... I'm sorry, I can't do much here. I wanted to stick to a certain art style for my character design. Maybe a different style for other sides that are yet to be introduced? As of now, I can't promise much here. About Lynn, I can't change her facial structure, that would mean I'll have to redo all her ch. 1 renders. That's not an option. I can however tweak her skin to make her look a bit older in future updates.

Bugs:

Coming to the bugs, the beta/proofreading team did a great job! We didn't have any game-breaking or engrish bugs *phew*. Though a few corner cases were missed, we are only humans after all. Kudos to everyone who pointed them out.

This fix should not break any of your existing saves & is optional.

Future updates should work without any problem, irrespective of whether you apply this patch.

[Public][ACQ CH. 1] Release Date + Previews + Tier changes

Well, as they say, better late than never. As I'm writing this, the team is already testing the beta & hopefully, there won't be any big issues that might push the release *fingers crossed*.

Synopsis:
Grappling with the usual challenges of daily college life was supposed to be hard at times, but fun. At least that's what Lewis thought... That is, until his girlfriend broke up with him and his roommate joined the same college as him while he's still trying to rebound and recover from the breakup. Handling all of those things and keeping up with classes might've been possible, but that changed when a mysterious girl from his dreams appeared.

Acquainted is an episodic adult VN centering around mystery, romance, corruption, and storytelling.

I also made a few changes to support tiers, nothing major, but still if you're interested:

1. Addition of one more tier if you're feeling extra generous ;p
2. Removal of the release of beta builds for Tier V. I don't know why I added that in the first place.
3. Removal of custom art from Tier V. Limited to Tier VI now.
4. Tier IV+ will get one-week early access from the next release [v0.2.0].
5. Tier III will get three-days early access from the next release [v0.2.0].
6. This release will be a public one. All the releases after this (be it an update to the main game or the side stories) will be Patreon only.
7. Wallpaper voting will start this month for Tier IV+.
