EXCLUSIVE: With Sandy having a color sequence under her belt, and Julie the current subject of an epic (albiet grayscale) comic sequence, I've been looking toward Leah, the third member of the Lunateers. Some of you may remember the old "Leah's Halloween" sketch sequence (for a reminder, look here: https://www.deviantart.com/projectqk/gallery/50689775/lunateers-leah-s-halloween ). The sequence clearly needs an update. It's not really a finished work, existing only as sketches--even Julie's companion Halloween sequence is more polished. Furthermore, my art has clearly improved since it was done-- I was in the middle of my odd super-scrawny phase evidently when I drew it. Most notably, the sequence plays out as her first transformation, with the typical horrified reaction. However, since then, Leah's character has evolved and she views her change much differently than Julie or even Sandy, so a simple "special edition" approach won't do.
Thinking about all of this inspired me to draw Leah in her Supergirl costume. Since she's going to a costume party I played with the design a little bit. The original was based on the then current DC Comics costume. Here I added high heels and swapped out the blue miniskirt for red shorts. Since I've drawn this I think I might put the skirt back as I think it looks better, but keep the red shorts underneath.
Anyway, I'm just playing around at this point as we still have a way to go with both Julie and Ericka aka the Savage Girl. But is this something you'd like to see down the road?
