Big New Year
Added 2015-10-23 00:48:37 +0000 UTCOkay uh...so November is coming up. Anyone got ideas for next month's calendar? I've usually started it by now and I have about a week to get it done by.

I think something generally nice and autumny could work. Maybe someone enjoying a hot beverage while walking amongst the changing colors? I was going to suggest the Day of the Dead celebration and observation, I'm rather enamored by the complex patterns on the skulls and the marigolds *coughmaybeAlicewithfacepaintandandabouquetofmarigoldsordancingwithskeletonscough*, but I guess that'd have a bit of overlap with October.

2015-10-24 00:52:44 +0000 UTCYeesh there's really not much to work with outside of certain feasts, peacetime/religious events, and lung cancer. Maybe something to do with birthstones (Topaz Citrine) or a zodiac type thing which involves Scropio/Sagittarius, otherwise Chinese it's still the year of the sheep. Really grasping here though.

2015-10-23 20:11:32 +0000 UTCAs others have mentioned you could have fireworks night, a British Holiday on November 5th, or you could do something to do with the weather rather than an event as you did witches but not, technically, Halloween for October. So dancing amongst falling red leaves or something along those sorts of lines. Alternatively I believe there is a festival in Japan or China around November but I couldn't be sure. Could always revisit Emi Saito or Ji Mei Zhong either struggling to get ready for the festival, or making whatever their outfits would be for New Years. Just a thought. Take care.

2015-10-23 03:45:46 +0000 UTCAmerican Thanksgiving is a bit too easy. From the list here: http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/november.htm there's Button Day, Occult Day, Evolution Day, and Red Planet Day.
