Another stab to the head of Indomitable. This time, through the eye. Stolen Victory hung her head in shame, and said, sadly. “It is done, Master. Indomitable is dying.”
“Good slut,” I commended her, as my blade struck down Foxtrot. Not dead. That was good. Looks like her plan of not getting taken alive wasn’t going to happen. “Foxtrot called in some kind of suicide strike. We’ll take her and Pyra with us, and withdraw. Victory, grab Pyra. Web Mistress, prepare to get us out of here.”
Bloodmoon swung her scepter like a golf club, catching Lucky Star under the chin. Her chip shot launched him into the air, where he crashed head-first into the top of one of the stacks of crates. If he wasn’t out cold when she hit him, he certainly was in no shape to resist afterwards. But Bloodmoon wasn’t done. She advanced on Titan, pointing her scepter at him. “How long until the package arrives, weakling?”
Segment 12:
Web Mistress uses Digital World.
“Foxtrot’s communicator just got a confirmation message!” Web Mistress called out as she jumped off the crates and readied to get us out of here. “Package arriving in three seconds! Everyone to me so we can get out of here.”
Stolen Victory sullenly picked up Pyra, cradling the woman in her arms. “I’m sorry, Pyra,” she said, as she flew up to stand by Web Mistress. “We’re both damned, now.”
I picked up Foxtrot, and slung her over my shoulder. “Well, Titan, best of luck to ya. Probably should start running if you want to live.” That said, I turned, and made my way back to Web Mistress’s side.
“Wait!” He called out. “Please, take me with you! I’ll do whatever you want! Just don’t leave me here to die!”
Bloodmoon looked at me. I was about to tell him where he could shove it, before Web Mistress said, “Bring him, brother. I’ll make him useful to you.” There was no time to argue, so I just nodded to Bloodmoon, who grabbed Titan by the throat, and flew over to us, before casting him at Web Mistress’s feet.
And then I heard the tone of dial-up internet, coming from Titan’s communicator, and everything went white.
(Private Server)
The next thing I knew, we were in Web Mistress’s private server. Clearly, she didn’t intend to take us back to the lair, just yet. Probably for the best, since the heroes probably had some kind of trackers on them.
Currently, the main room of the server was set up as a mad scientist’s lair. I noticed a few machines that were right out of the series of campy movies we’d been watching recently. Of course, this was all digital set dressing, and my sister could change things up on a whim, making it look however she wanted. It was data, after all, and she was called Web Mistress for a reason.
As I put aside some of the memories I had of this room (most of which were of the raunchy variety), I looked over at Web Mistress, who had her eyes locked on Titan. “So, sister. How are you going to make a battlesuit pilot without their suit useful to me?”
“Oh, that’s simple, brother. This Titan in the buff is going to become Titania. We’re in the digital realm, and in this place I am a Goddess. I can remake him into whatever your heart desires. Body, Mind, and Soul.”
Titan stiffened at that, and started sputtering, “Hey, hey, let’s not get too hasty, here. I’m sure there’s a lot I can do for you guys, without any of that!”
“No, I don’t think there is,” Web Mistress said, waving one hand to bring up a screen out of thin air. The image showed reports of an explosion in the warehouse we were in. Large enough that the entire building was engulfed in flames. “Everything and everyone you were before is dead, now. If you’re not dead, then the government agency which subsidizes the Squadron Supreme will believe you compromised. You no longer have any choice but to stay with us. Don’t worry, you won’t even miss your old life, when I’m through with you.”
“Do you want us here for this, sister?”
“No, go ahead and have fun breaking in Foxtrot and Pyra. The field effect here has already stabilized them, so they’ll be waking up before too long. Probably best to start indoctrinating them in their sleep, unless you want to tussle with them. Don’t worry, their powers won’t work because they’re not registered users, so you can have fun overpowering them with ease. And, depending on how things go, you might need to enslave both parts of Foxtrot separately. I don’t know how her powers are set up.”
Yes, that could be an issue. Fortunately, I had someone at hand who would have more information about that. Turning to Victory, I said, “Stolen Victory, what do you know of Foxtrot’s powers? Will we need to deal with them both separately?”
“Wait, Stolen Victory?”
I looked over to Titan, and grinned. “After I took her as my slave, I changed her name. She can’t very well go around being a supervillainess under the name she inspired people with as a heroine, yes? This also reinforces to her that she is no longer the free woman she once was. I’ll be coming up with new names for Foxtrot and Pyra, as well. You, too, if Web Mistress does a good enough job remodeling you.”
“Wait!”
“Enough of that,” Web Mistress said, silencing Titan with a kick from her boot. Another wave of her hand opened a ‘portal’ next to me. “Brother, go play with your toys, so I can concentrate on my project!”
“But you’re one of my toys, too, sister.”
“Mmmh. You can play with me after I’m done, to reward me for the new pet I’m making you.”
“Hah! Fine, fine,” I laughed, and turned to the portal. “Come along, girls. Let’s leave my sister to her work. Oh, and Crystal? Don’t forget to empty out the bank accounts for Victory and the others before the Squadron can freeze them.”
“What do you take me for, a noob? I started doing that the moment you enslaved Victory. Speaking of which, you’re going to want to go through her status, and the others, to clean things up. I doubt they’ll be needing government contacts, or the like, and you can streamline some of their disadvantages.”
“Right, we can probably save some points on them to put to better things. I’ll take care of it as soon as I’m done ‘playing with my toys’,” I said, as I stepped into the portal.
Passing through the portal took us into a very different setting. Gone was the mad science aesthetic, and now we were in a hotel room. Not like a normal hotel, though. This was a room from a love hotel in Japan. Knowing Crystal, it was either a copy of an actual love hotel in real life, or it was one that featured in some animated work she’d ‘enjoyed’. Probably the second one.
“Master, why does Web Mistress have a room like this ready to go in her digital space?”
I chuckled at Stolen Victory’s question. “Because she’s a little freak. You heroes like to say I’m the pervert, because I’m the one with a harem, but she’s the wild one.”
“Ah, I see. Is it true that she is your sister? You were speaking to her as if she were one of your women.”
“Yes, she is my sister. And yes, she is my woman, just like you are. Now, enough of that,” I said, slinging Foxtrot off my shoulder, and onto the bed. “Put Pyra down, and tell me about Foxtrot’s powers.”
“Yes, Master,” Stolen Victory responded, as she gently laid Pyra out on the bed, next to Foxtrot. “As for Foxtrot’s powers, I know that she is a half-yokai, or magical creature. Her mother was human, and her father was a rare male kitsune, made rarer still by having nine tails. While she has some powers in either form, she is stronger when she unleashes her yokai powers. I do know that she has a separate status screen for her transformed state.”
Iceblade’s KS: The System roll, 14-: 3d6 = 12 (Success)
“Interesting. Sounds like the Multiform power at work, then. Which means I’ll need to convert both halves separately, as Crystal suggested. Otherwise, the one I don’t enslave will try and run away, and that will cause even more problems than you did, with your little attempt at resistance.”
“Yes, Master,” Victory responded, still sullen. But I guess she had reason to be upset, considering her change in status.
Still, reason or no, I wasn’t about to let her continue pouting like that. “Now, now. Don’t be so glum. You know that all of this is your fault, yes? Your fall, and the fact that your friends are either dead, or soon to be my slaves. All of it is your fault. If you had stayed away, or not tried to use one of my possessions, or one of my kids, as bait to draw me out? Then you wouldn’t be here now. And Indomitable would still be alive.”
The look she gave me was full of hate. But I could tell that there was some self-doubt and recrimination thrown in, as well. She knew that I was telling the truth. A version of the truth that fit my own ends, perhaps, but the truth nonetheless. “Yes, Master,” she said, with an acid tone, “I’m aware of that.”
“Good. Then you can start making amends by stripping our two new pets down. Don’t worry about preserving their costumes or possessions. They’ll all be getting deleted, anyways. Same with your clothes as Eva. Have to make sure there are no tracers on you. Eventually, we’ll take you to the Tailors, to get new villain costumes.”
“I’m sorry, Master, but my costume is part of the enchantment on my belt, along with my gear. The Tailors will not be able to do anything with it.”
I’d expected something like that, since taking off the belt changed her in and out of costume, but hadn’t known for sure. There were other heroes and villains, after all, who had some costume change ability, but the ability just summoned the costume, which could be changed, rather than creating the costume the same way each time. “That’s fine, then. We can go to the Enchanters, instead. I’m sure they’ll be quite happy to tinker with your belt, until they find a way to alter the costume.”
Of course, as she was stripping the two sleeping women, I, also, took my time getting out of costume, neatly folding everything to the side. Victory gave a double-take when she saw my face, probably kicking up half-forgotten memories from when I’d controlled her before. I was merciful, though, and ignored it. She was my slave, so her seeing my face didn’t matter anymore.
“Now, Victory, on your knees. I want you to get me hard so I can start entertaining our sleeping beauties, here.”
Stolen Victory sighed, but obediently fell to her knees in front of me. “Yes, Master.”
Comments
Damn, that was a fun couple of chapters! And not not only has he picked up Pyra and Foxtrot, but getting a 'bonus' from whatever Crystal makes of Titania, which should be interesting to see.
