Removal of the $50 dollar tier
Added 2017-06-06 03:33:15 +0000 UTCIt's no secret this patreon is a bit of a mess- Most of the illustrations I finish, I can't show until they're posted up, anything for SCG I can't have larger than 1200 px online so that's not worth it posting...literally the same thing i've got everywhere else. One company I have no idea when i can post their illustrations as they don't communicate much, and the only one I can show as i complete it, for bulldogs, tends to be done in one sitting, so there's not much process to them.
In doing mentorships, i've learned a few things as well- I'm not nearly as good at painting as I thought I was, and I've got a while to go. I know there's no magical butterfly artist time when you're going to know everything, but at this point I feel like illustrations take me 10 X as long as they should, i'm doing pretty much the same type of painting over and over, and adding responsibilities on top of a slump is not great. (also that people will camp limited tiers and that's a bit aggravating) So for now, and until things get better, no mentorships. (Still feel free to ask for critiques on stream though)
Upside - the two freelance gigs i've had are wrapping up, so it's likely that i'll open for commissions somewhat soon, and those I can post updates and full files, and all the actual stuff I promise. I'm trying to delicately balance keeping commitments I've set forth, and completely withdrawing from everything social as my body wants to do at the moment. So for a while, we're gonna keep things simple here. Thank you guys, seriously, for sticking around while i flump and slump my way all over the place.
