2025-03-10 09:10:17 +0000 UTCThis was my 4th time watching, finally with guys, first by myself, then Reel Rejects, BlindWave, then you guys. Awesome seeing everyone's reactions all the time. The first time experiencing the loss of Foggy was tough, then it got easier with each watchalong. The reason why Bullseye kills Foggy is for revenge from the sequence of events that occurred during Season 3, he was very close to killing Karen, but wanted to do it up close and personal. That's where he fails when Daredevil launches him through a window. As much of a skilled assassin that Poindexter is, his psychotic tendencies fuel him, I believe that he wanted to hurt Matt in any way possible.

2025-03-06 15:59:08 +0000 UTCSo I got to be honest, I was looking forward to this show, but I absolutely hate the choice to kill Foggy. I’m sure there had to be other ways to get Matt where he needed to be. We finally get the gang back and they kill one of them in the first few minutes of the first episode back and then send Karen to California. Star Wars does this a lot too where they bring back characters or finally give a character dialogue just to kill them off, so I’m really tired of those type of story choices. I hate to say it but I don’t even feel like watching the show anymore. 😢😞

They needed to do something so dramatic, impactful and traumatic that it would put Matt into the position we now find him. This is essentially my 4th watch and I just noticed that Matt is carrying around the funeral notice for Foggy wherever he goes to constantly remind him why he is no longer Daredevil.
