Well, it seems that February came and went basically immediately (Seriously, where'd it go!?) and we're a bit behind the onion on getting our Illuminati Peaches their exclusive Watch-A-Long...so let's get cracking!
We want your suggestions! As always, we take suggestions for movies to go on the poll from all our patrons, but the Illuminati Tier get exclusive voting rights.

2025-03-03 22:37:42 +0000 UTCI'm going to suggest the movie "Top Secret" from 1984, starring Val Kilmer. While the movie itself is not technically a vacation movie, Val's character is a singer who mimics the Beach Boys vibe and became popular on the charts for his #1 single "Skeet Surfing". (This is perhaps one of the only movies more silly than a Leslie Nielsen comedy like Airplane or Naked Gun.) At another point the movie does a full-on parody sequence of the 70's soft-core corn movie "The Blue Lagoon" (Not really a corn movie at all but it was only a wardrobe malfunction away from Bow-chicka-wau-wauuuu.) So you get a lot of beach-centric action in the middle of a spoof of a WWII spy movie parody. It's bizarre, but it works. And I almost guarantee Jay will fall out of his chair laughing so hard he'll be gasping for breath at one point while Adam looks on in abject horror at the film. No bull. So while not technically a beach or vacation or road trip movie, it has a lot of those elements in it, and it's one of the 'sleeper comedies' from the mid-80s which is only just now beginning to attract the reactors online (and they hit that same part and seem evenly divided between 'fall out laughing' and 'existential dread'.)
