Numenor is vitally important to what happens with Sauron, and they've finally got to the dark side. This episode saw a LOT of bad pieces moving toward big payoffs, and Sauron's plan is coming together. I love it.

2024-09-15 20:08:46 +0000 UTCLore Dump 5/8: Narvi and Celebrimbor actually make the Doors of Durin in the second age! It uses Ithildin (a material that glows in moonlight) which we see Celebrimbor create in Episode 2. Two of the other six dwarf lords already live in Moria. They fled there after their homes were destroyed and then sunk underwater. The other four live to the far East, close to where Tom Bombadil, the stranger, and the Harfoots are at the moment. Valandil (the guy who got stabbed in the back) shares a name with one of Isildur’s sons, who’s presumably named after him. Don’t forget the Balrog (Durin’s Bane)’s true name: Sean the Balrog.😁 PS: Jay, you totally give off Bombadil vibes!
