Bluey S2E01-4 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! We've made it to season 2!!! It's about to get spicy! The animation is slightly better, the lesson are deeper, and the chaos is more.......chaotic. Strap in!

As an Australian, I can confidently tell you that most people now refer to Bunnings as "HammerBarn". They even brought out a limited edition of the Bluey garden gnomes which sold out within a coupe of hours nation-wide.

How have you not done blue eye Samurai yet? I understand jay had a kid recently, but I didn’t realize this was a validation channel. Jay, you care a lot, your kid will be fine. All ❀️

My kids practically press their mouth against my ear and I can almost never understand anything they’re saying, just loud hot breath straight into the ear canal πŸ˜‚

So true! Plus his soft spot for Bingo. πŸ₯°

I listen to "Bluey" and "Dance Modes" practically every day! Can't wait for the third album coming out in October: "Rug Island" .... https://www.bluey.tv/blog/announcing-rug-island-the-album/

Kid whisper is the funniest thing, my 4 year old used to just "whisper" nonsense words, loud hot "haa pstt psst" in my ear.

Sherrice Marie Mojgani

I didn’t know that but I totally see it! He seems like a really cool guy.

The musician character is also supposed to be Joff Bush too.

Also the music in Season 2 really takes it up a notch, I’ll be interested to hear their thoughts on the music in some of these episodes, too. Joff Bush is amazing 🀩

With how much Jay tears up just seeing the kids sleeping, Sleepytime is going to be wonderful to watch with them πŸ₯Ή

Stefan and Erin S

OH LORD. Sleepytime. The Apocalypse is upon us.

I love how you explained this. I think your point is really important to keep in mind because so many episodes are coming up that even more dramatically contrast adult and child perspectives to help the real audience (parents) remember how it felt to be a child.

I love that you were doing all the β€œBIG BROTHERRRRS” stuff in the same episode where you guys watched Squash. I feel like the season sort of eases you into the really moving episodes, but I also noticed today when doing some rewatching that the first part of the season really explores Bingo and Chilli a lot more than the first season did. There are a lot of episodes demonstrating how sensitive Bingo is, and as someone who was a sensitive child and also has a very sensitive 5yo, I really appreciate the way Bingo’s character is treated. It isn’t just about teaching her to use her voice (though they explore that too) but also teaching how to recognize when someone else doesn’t really want to do something. Good lessons for kids! I’m excited for next week, especially Daddy Dropoff. And then the next week is Sleepytime πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

So for the magic, you have to remember that the show is being told through the eyes of young Bluey (people theorize its a Stand by Me situation where older Bluey is retelling the stories), so everything has a child's imagination in it. You'll notice the houses are impossibly large, the way a kid would see it, especially when they are running around the house.

Foulrot

Shhh! But yes, I saw that too πŸ˜…

Thursdays are quickly becoming my favorite day of the week

Oh, wow. I didn't remember that these first episodes set up the WHOLE PREMISE OF .... 🀐
