Rings of Power S2E04 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! The one thing we've been asking for from this show is having more action. Well, this episode delivers. It also gave us an explanation for one the things we understood the least about when it came to Middle Earth lore. So over all, this was a pretty solid episode.

Seconded!

I would love to see y'all react to "A Discovery of Witches," now available on both Amazon and Netflix. It's a tremendous book-to-screen adaptation (well written, filmed, and acted ... starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer) based on the best-selling All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Escape into a tale of forbidden love and ancient magic, set in a world where witches, vampires, and daemons live amongst us... hiding in plain sight.

"Message for you sir!" - I don't think I've WHEEZED at a joke in a good long time, but that did it for me!

Do you know how I know y'all have given up on this show, the jokes are excellent! When y'all like a show, you watch it...like say Arcane. There's no talking. When a show is craptastic (like this one) you got non-stop jokes. It's hard to decide which I like better. Look, I won't be watching this terrible show, I gave up at episode 3, but I'm into your reactions purely for the jokes so some good can come of this yet. 😂

So some lore stuff Tolkien himself said that Tom Bombaril is not God or the Creator if Middle Earth. One of the more popular theories is that he is one of the Valar, the gods who created the world, who decided to remain on ME following its creation

Lore Dump 4/8: Elrond is Galadriel’s son-in-law, so there probably won’t be a romance between them. All we really know about Tom Bombadil is that he’s… Tom Bombadil. And incredibly powerful. And old. He’s one of the few things Tolkien doesn’t explain. The barrow-wights come after Tom Bombadil in the books, before the hobbits get to Bree. In a very horror movie-esque scene, they are captured and about to be sacrificed in an ancient ritual when they’re saved by Tom Bombadil. The barrow-wights are dark spirits bound (by the Witch King) to the dead bodies of the kings of Arnor (Aragorn’s ancestors). Arnor was the northern kingdom of men and Gondor was the southern kingdom. Fun fact: Gollum was a Stoor. And the Harfoots do found the Shire. When Adar addresses Galadriel, he uses her elvish name! PS. If the Dark wizard is Craig, does that mean Pinocchio, the Craig-Slayer will make a cameo?
