2024-02-24 00:43:39 +0000 UTCAs someone who works for a restaurant company currently (past 5 yrs through the entire pandemic) the whole qr code vs printed menu thing was.. an interesting experiment. My job is literally menu production, editing, posting, printing, logistics.. etc for 35 restaurants and I can say most properties didnt use QR for more than a month. Our guests are so old school they didnt want anything to do with it lol. Trust me, it would be lovely to print less paper everyday..but I agree that a printed menu adds so much to the dining experience and is much more accessible to all guests. The few places that still use them are casual with more focus on alcohol, with a younger on average audience. Anyways! Onto my favorite episode! (Just so happens to be restaurant themed)
