Whelp, this episode changes that. Crosshairs will finally see what this new Galactic Empire really thinks of him. But how will he respond??

A few things I thought of / that were clearer on the re-watch: - They we’re on base protecting those crates for a year Mayday said - the empire had the stormtrooper gear waiting in the wings, on a remote enough planet until the plans to phase the clones out were more firm - Mayday’s attitude towards the imperial officer reminded me of my now retired dad when he was in his union blue collar job a la corporate sends the stiffs in to oversee things with no regard to the safety of the men. “Just do it” but not with any resources that can actually help you do your job effectively or safely. - Crosshair’s inner conflict partially reminded me of Gabi Braun and the other warrior candidates in Attack on Titan. Wanted to prove they were the “good ones” but in reality all clones have been exploited, oppressed, and mistreated, and that will continue, just as there was never going to be any change in how Eldians were treated.
