The Legend of Vox Machina S2E05 Watch Along

Hey Peaches! It's time for Keyleth's spot light episode. And it turns out our druid is actually a sleeping giant. Figuratively and actually.  We get some great backstory for Campaign 2, and the semi-origin of Thordak the fire dragon. It's truly amazing how much awesome they can pack into these 24 minute episodes.

Keyleth is a Circle of the Moon druid subclass, which lets her Wild Shape as a bonus action AND allowed her to expend both uses of Wild Shape to become an elemental...she started out with Air Elemental form as the default, and Matt decided that she would have to complete her trials with the other Ashari tribes to unlock the other elemental forms.

And good ring of fire protection joke, but you missed a good Grog joke in the show for it. Hope you enjoyed it in the edit.

Jay may have just been joking about the intro, but you had the right idea Adam. Have you looked up the Raven Queen's areas of influence in one of the sourcebooks? She's not ONLY about death... and the intro has another recurring theme beyond yellow lines...

Fun fact: Janet Varney, voice of Korra in Avatar: Legend of Korra, voices Keyleth's mom, Vilya, in this episode. A nice touch, given that Keyleth was heavily inspired by the Avatar series.

I would rate this 4/4 blushed cheeks... nothing embarrasses you more than a parent making observations.

I like how they work in lvl up through the show cause I believe this was the first time in the Campaign Keyleth was able to start wild shaping into Elementals.
