Stranger Things S4E09 Watch Along
Added 2022-07-03 14:50:08 +0000 UTCHey Peaches! Surprise! The way the editing for the season 4 finale worked out, it behooved me to make the Watch Along first, as we cut the episode in two parts. So we thought we'd let y'all see it before I (Adam) even start to edit the first part.
This episode is quite the trip. The whole production staff really knows how to orchestrate a good ride. The highs, the lows, the set backs, and come backs. It's amazing. But not without cost. Heavy, heart breaking cost. But there is still hope, as I theorize after the episode.
Thank you all for being with us on this one. This shouldn't have been a surprise hit of the year for us, but it was. We truly enjoyed sharing this show with you, it made the low parts a little easier to stomach, and made the highs even better. Thank Argyle! So when's season 5?

2022-09-11 23:19:14 +0000 UTCI had to rewatch this last episode/movie with you guys. Great reaction. Kudos to the show for taking a swing on the structure of these last two episodes. Once again, with most shows we've invested time in, we find ourselves wondering how will they land this plane in Season 5. Should make for an interesting/fun/amazing journey.

I was so sad to see Eddie die, and I'm still a bit salty about it, but it was the perfect end to his story line. I still don't think Will is in love with Mike, I think he is in love with Eleven. Look at how upset he got right after they caught up with her at the underground lab. And I think THAT is what Johnathan is picking up on because he felt that way about Nancy. Maybe that is why Will kept his distance before, and because she is his "sister" that makes it even more complicated. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin...

Max saying she couldnt see scares me because i would be so sad if she were a blind character now, BUT having powers, if she happens to be blind, may help. Just saying, i mean they never explained how 1's powers were transferred to the other children. Maybe El Figured it out. π€·π»ββοΈ As for this seasons acting! Top tier by Max the whole way! Lucas' acting was superb the second half of this season, Eleven as well. Hopper and Dustin did well at times too. The Actors on this show are amazing! They made me feel every emotion of happiness, sadness and fear! Best season of any show on netflix ever in my opinion.

The show managed to make us afraid of the clock since episode one, and in the last episode, at least for me, it transformed into sheer terror. Well done! Also, can I just say that I sometimes hate newspaper converage of shows like this? One of the bigger German magazines did an article on how the fact that Kate Bush is now popular again thanks to Netflix spells doom for pop culture .... I am just happy that a great song by a great artist got all the deserved recognition, and was used again to great effect here!
