Arcane S1E05 Watch Along
Added 2021-11-15 19:00:05 +0000 UTCHey Peaches! Last episode we saw how Powder changed into Jinx, this episode we get to see how Vi turned into a bigger bad ass. We got some serious 'The Dark Knight Returns' vibes from this episode. As our new Dynamic Duo of Vi and Caitlyn run along the roof tops of the undercity on their quest for justice! This episode is seriously 'What if Vi came home.....and kicked ass!!!!!???' The fight scene at the end is truly amazing. We didn't think we could possibly love this show more, we were wrong :)
And once again, thank you, to all you Peaches, new and old, for the overwhelming support of us and this series. Y'all are literally changing our lives and can't thank you enough.

Disney does this all the time with 3d animated movies. While this was more blatant, I still expected them to use the models in the background at some point.

I find her to be Neutral good (in that she is part of the system so to speak but she can and will break the rules if her morals tell her to), while Vi is currently chaotic good (like Robin Hood for instance). I think this show could go two ways. Either we will get a good conclusion to this story in episode 9 (where the Vi/Jinx relationship/conflict will have a clear cut end -happy or sad both are possible) or there will be room for season 2. In the game, in the lore they are enemies so to speak, but that is it. The lore does not show their ultimate fate. The lore could be presented in, for example episode 8, where we get to that point and see the characters as they are presented in the game. And then in the last episode we could go past that point of the lore we have so far. And have a true and clear cut conclusion /ending. All I know for sure. It is going to be awesome!

2021-11-15 21:49:23 +0000 UTCYES ADAM! Cait is my new favorite character! How she refused to get a cush job in politics next to her mom because she'd rather see the world and fight crime. Going against orders to be a detective. Breaking criminals out to help her get answers. She's fucking awesome! And major points to her animator/character designer for not making her just some attractive girl in a uniform. When she was out of uniform in her room she looks like a beast showing them guns. Sure she's no Vi. But she's not a boxer. She's toned like an athlete and got arms designed to steady a rifle sight. So bad ass.

The relationship between Jayce and Viktor is already drastically different from game lore, even though they do have a big connection. And Silco is not even a character in the game. So it will be interesting to see how they continue to create their own version of this universe.

2021-11-15 20:51:54 +0000 UTCHeya, just thought I’d add in something for you guys to think about as the show progresses! While I can certainly agree that this series is something of an “origin story” for the characters involved, the people in charge of League of Legends and its lore have really been diving deep into the mythology of the world over the past few years, adding in new content with the characters to make them feel less…static was the word I think you used. So in regards to what Adam said, I can’t say for certain of course, but so much of this is brand-new, so it’s possible by the end we’ll get different iterations—or at least deeper iterations—of these characters as we know them. I mean, even Vi and Jinx being sisters was just a theory for years. It’s only recently that it’s been totally confirmed. Hope that helps your mind stay open for where these characters might go! I think everyone is pumped to see where this story leaves them for (fingers crossed) a possible second season. Can’t wait for the next reaction with you guys!

It's the same as in comics where characters can die and reborn many times, but they still share their distinctive features in those reincarnations. Characters even have different skins that are considered to be from different universes' timelines

You should check out some of their cinematics/music videos (the video for the song Warriors has some Vi/Caitlyn content too). Also, Riot Games ARE officially working on an MMO, but its still a good few years out!

That's the same mask that the character Kindred has in game, her and her counterpart Wolf are the manifestations of death in League of Legends universe.

It totally CAN be the law, but it also can very much be a personal code, they just have to adhere to it! Also, they recently announced that an MMO in the universe is coming... who knows when but still.
