Ok, to the episode itself. When we last left Vi and Powder, Vi was willing to sacrifice herself in the name of deescalating the situation. But....others have different plans in mind. Which leads to a faithful collision of ill intent and the best of intensions. This is, hands down, one of the best episodes setting up a time jump we've ever seen. And I (Adam) have watched a lot of anime....

Youtube is trash this days, it seems every time a company reaches an effective monopoly everything goes to hell (not sure if Youtube was the problem in this case, but then, so called Intellectual Property laws are a dumpster fire anyway, and I'm sure the head honchos at Google "care", but they certainly don't care enough to push for anything meaningful. Politicians won't do it, so I guess we're reduced to beg corporations to throw us a bone. So much for Democracy). Google just doesn't care anymore (Remember when they abandoned the motto "Don't do Evil" or something? HA!), as soon as a competitor manages to compete with them in terms of network streaming resources and business strategy, they're toast. Maybe Amazon, another lousy company. But a lot of people would jump from the frying pan into the fire just for the schadenfreude of watching Youtube come crashing down. Anyway, I love your reactions, keep it up.

And their Patreon platform is that they show their entire reaction to the show. This is something people already on here pay to see, for them to upload what they normally do for free on YT would be a waste of previous Patreons money, they want to see the full reaction. And since we are paying to be on here too, they are doing us a service by allowing us to see their full reaction and give us access to a ton of their content outside of this as well. They are doing the best they can under circumstances they didnt want to be under in the first place.

Personally I would love to see either Void/Shurima (My boi Nasus - The D-Cane) or Bilgewater/Shadow Isles. I think The Harrowing is their best storyline and would be an amazing plot for a season. So many different characters and plotlines. Though it will most likely be Demacia/Noxus or Noxus/Ionia since it has the most clear plot and human conflict. The other regions are a lot more fantastical. But, I am not losing hope :)

Pretty sure his first lore back when League was still League and summoners were a thing, that he was accidentally summoned. Similarly as fidd in his first lore. It may be a new mage. Regardless I doubt he will make another appearance here. Ryze has not much to do with Piltover. Not that I really care for him. As long as I see WW (and they dont kill him off).

Also, his clothes looked very Targonian, with the emphasis on the moon further suggesting he might be from the area around Targon, possibly even Lunari.

Of all the realms in the world, Piltover/Zaun/The Lanes are a perfect sort of entry since it closely reflects how our own societal structure is. If they wanted to move from this 9 episodes and introduce the other realms, it would be awesome. Especially since there are other realms like Demacia where they outlaw/criminalize magic yet there is a mage right under their noses. I know this is just the completion of Act 1 but it’s amazing what they done with just 3 episodes. Ever since playing the game and diving into the lore, I always talked about how cool it would be to see it as a show. To know that this is the results of my patience makes me truly happy

Same symbols on his spells/scroll, even his bouncing ability has a similar symbol, colour scheme (Ryze is the only mage besides Xerath who is pure blue/white), body build (skinny tall, slightly hunched), tatoos, beard (you can see it in one brief frame when he is looking at the sky), hands and gestures are basically the same as in the "A twist of fate" cinematic. The only thing going against it is that his skin is not blue, but Ryze has a "human Ryze" skin. And he might have gotten blue after a certain event.

Secondly, I wanted to add you guys on patreon for a while, and this show and the youtube situation gave me the kick in the butt I needed. No way am I going to miss your reactions for this. Jay, I do have to disagree with you there. Everybody wanted a League show just because we knew that it would be soo good. Not just visually. I have played League for 10+ years and am a HUGE lore fan/nerd. Gotta say, this show is damn accurate. While you are correct that the matches themselves have no plot, each Champion (character) has its own story told in either cinematics, comics or short stories. Some of them are really amazing. So on a whole, this game has 10+ years worth of lore and worldbuilding. This show is amazing and anybody can watch it and enjoy. But still, it is on a whole other level for us fans. I dont think I am exaggerating when I compare this to my experience watching the first Avengers. And I am not talking about easter eggs. We have played as these characters for soo long and now after all these years we finaly see them on the big (well not so big but you know what I mean) screen. And that they are done so well. While Zaun/Piltover is not my personal favourite region nor are its champions, with one big exception (who I will not name yet, cuz I very much hope to see him), I do realize why they chose this story. Very well done. Since you guys asked multiple times, here is a spoiler free list of characters shown in the show (so far) that are Champions (playable) in the game: Vi, Jinx, Ekko (you were right), Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ryze (the mage guy in Jayces flashback) and Singed (the mad chemist who works for Silco). There are few others that are hinted at but I will not spoil that. We shall just have to wait and see. And yes, after the time jump you will see them as they are represented in the game (not little kids anymore). Some other info. Names: Piltover - top side; Zaun - bottom. The reason Heimerdinger was so against Jayce creating Hextech is because of an event called the Rune Wars (this is only mentioned in the games and there are no champions from that time so I do not consider it a spoilerr cuz it is not really integral to this story but it helps you understand Heimer.) The Rune wars was a global war of mages that resulted in a cataclysm that almost destroyed the entire world. So they are right to be nervous. Heimer himself is a yordle. They as a species originate from magic (it is in their very essence so to speak) so it is an added insult to him that somebody would try to create and manipulate what is a natural force artificially. You guys are my favourite reactiors and it is a real pleasure wathing this with you guys. Cannot wait for more. :)
