Nov Commentary Track - Addams Family Values

Hey Peaches! Here it is, the commentary track you voted for. In a surprise win, it's the sequel to the Addams Family.  I (Adam) haven't seen it since I was a kid, and Jay's not even sure he's ever seen it. But wow does this movie hold up, and it's way funnier than I remember. Great choice Peaches.

FYI a third movie was being planned but Raul Julia died in 1994 and was scrapped because no one could replace Gomez Adams

No problem at all! It’s a very common question, and we did a test full tape watch through last month that went rather well, so I think I just need to convince Adam hahahaha. Welcome to the Illuminati, we very much appreciate the support. -Jay

Ah, sorry about that! It’s my first month at this tier and I was confused. Thanks for the clarification, and thanks for all you guys do!

Sly

These watch throughs we’ve structured as audio only, but i think we could consider making these full video going forward, we’d just need to circle the wagons on that. We’ll get back to yah.

Would it be possible to post the visual commentary as well?

Sly

Love it and yes agree with Jay. Watch a Switchmas movie for Christmas. Keep up the great work.

I have to say, I don’t think the dialogue included in this movie about privilege and casual racism were things that didn’t age well- I heard them as super dry jokes that were WAY ahead of their time. And ultimately the whole thing is about embracing who you are, as weird as that happens to be. Love it. Love it so much.

Amanda

Pugsly as a 🦃 singing "EAT ME" gets me every frickin time. So excited to watch this one!

Jen Smith

cool beans, you know I wouldn't mind seeing your visual commentary also, We actually worked out a way to sync it. Looking forward to hearing this
