News Feb 2023: The TSV RPG and QnA are coming!

Hey, wonderful people! Thank you so so much for your patience, happy 2023, and sorry for the long silence.

As mentioned, we went on our long-delayed honeymoon to Japan, then we moved house over the Christmas break to beautiful Bristol, and then we just sort of collapsed of exhaustion for a while.

Season Two probably broke us a bit more than we realised, but we’re back on our feet, working hard, and ready to be broken all over again.

QnA is coming tomorrow (at last)

Our end-of-season QnA with the wonderful William Wellman is finally complete, after literal days spent trying to remove as many of Jon’s ums and ahs as possible.

It comes in at a stonking 2+ hours in length, making it longer than either a Rob Zombie’s Halloween or a Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.

It also comes with a hefty 50+ page transcript that we’ve painstakingly prepared over the past couple of weeks, which is important for accessibility but also for folks who understandably don’t want to listen to us waffle on for 120 minutes, but who would still enjoy reading pearls of wisdom such as these:

We’re planning to share it with you on Patreon tomorrow, and then we’ll drop it on the main feed in the next couple of weeks - and then Jon will be diving back into working on completing So Long, Good Luck, which has been in his to-do pile for way too long.

The Gauntlet RPG

The wonderful folks from The Gauntlet - indie RPG designers behind the Between and Brindlewood Bay - are working on a game in the world of The Silt Verses!

Season 3

Next week Jon is heading to a cottage in the lonely hills to complete the writing on S3 (hopefully) and not get eaten by any sheep-angels of the Lonely Shepherd (also hopefully).

Then we'll be getting into the meat of production, post-production, and sharing the grand final season with all of you wonderful people! Release date to follow; as is now traditional, we'll also be launching a pre-season recap for anyone who's forgotten the finer details of who murdered whom and who was betrayed by so-and-so.
