Round-up: A huge thank-you, Season 2 Q&A, and more

Hi, wonderful patrons!

We really hope you enjoyed the finale of The Silt Verses Season 2 (and the season as a whole). It's been an absolute pleasure to bring it to you.

A few bits and pieces of news updates from us follow below - but first, we just want to take a moment to say an enormous and very heartfelt thank you.

It's been a really busy (and at times tough) year for us both, and this season has been a colossal undertaking to pull off. We've learnt a lot from it and we're incredibly, intensely proud of everyone's work on it - and hugely grateful for every single one of you who's supported the new season.

Your support has made all of that happen. In fact, your support has directly meant that we've been able to work with better quality and quantity SFX, we've been able to invest in additional tools to help us convey room ambience and footsteps (if we ever seemed like we were going heavy on the sheer number of footsteps in the show...look, we got over-excited).

We've been able to keep paying our amazing cast and collaborators with a small per-hour increase, and we've got closer than ever before to having at least one of us quitting our day jobs - which is the absolute dream. We'd love to be able to create more audiodrama to share with all of you, and it really feels like we're nearer to that goal than we've ever been.

So once more and with immense feeling - thank you all so, so much.

Timelines, timelines, timelines

Now that Season 2 is finished, we know we've got some Patreon rewards to follow up on - the end sequence of So Long, Good Luck, some additional lorebook content, and the next chapters of Sid Wright.

We'll be trying to get those out to you ASAP, after which we'll be heading off for a few weeks for our much-delayed 2020 honeymoon. (If we go quiet for a little while towards the end of the year, that'll be why!)

We'll keep you in the loop about the writing and production of Season 3 - our final season - as we get underway with that shortly afterwards.

If we get a chance, we'd also really like to continue the work we started with cleaning up some of the rougher audio spots in S1.

Wish us luck and we hope to bring you something really exciting and fun for the show's climax in 2023!
