For the past few weeks I couldn't lift my pen. Problems with my college and depression got to me, so I had to step back and take a bigger break than I did before. I was thinking about why I even was drawing and got to the point, where I almost threw my tablet away. My friends forced me to take a break, so I did...
I was doing stuff for my college and tried to change my focus to the other activity. In my case - it was the Minecraft map, that I had thoughts about for at least 4 years. I am having fun doing it and I feel actual joy making it, unlike art. The art turned into a chore, it started to feel mundane, boring and forced... I guess I got burnt out.
I appreciate all your support, but I don't know when I will get back on the track for drawing arts. Maybe I will change my vector from genshin to something different, maybe I'll start drawing my own characters, because I actually finished a character design course a while ago, and it was cool :)
But truly? I don't know, but I hope my will to draw will restore soon. I really hope you have a good day and won't burn out, trying to destroy the joy of your hobby.
