Hey, wonderful patrons - hope you're all doing well!
We have a seriously cool bit of art to share with you today - from Steven J. Anzalone, co-creator of the Maeltopia horror fiction podcast and an incredibly talented horror artist.
Steven has given us his take on the Elk Of Birch And Bone from Chapter Four of The Silt Verses (you might remember that it bursts out of poor Gareth's face).
Fair warning, the artwork is beautifully gnarly and gross, so we've placed it at the very bottom of this message in case you didn't want to see some very strong body horror unexpectedly in your inbox!
We've included a couple of Steven's earlier iterations - because it's really fascinating to see how it's come together and we think all of the versions are absolutely brilliant - and attached a hi-res png version which you can download.
If you get a chance to check out Maeltopia, please do: the team has created two fantastic audiodramas set in the same universe of surreal horror, Maeltopia and the Sleep/Wake Cycle. (They also share a ton of Steven's other artwork over on their Instagram page!)
A huge thank-you to Steven and his brother Mark for sharing their talents with us.
