News update: S2 timeline, Tier Changes, Eskew ad-free episodes, and Halloween RPG extravaganzas

Hey, lovely people, and happy Halloween!

We've just got time for a few bits and pieces of exciting news from us:

Season 2 timeline

Work on Season 2 of the Silt Verses continues apace. We've cast nearly all of the major roles, we're working on our recording schedule, and the writing is going really well - we can't wait you to hear some of the scenes we've come up with so far!

Right now, we're anticipating a episode 1 launch at the very start of 2022 (neatly, a year since S1 was released!) but we'll confirm an exact date as soon as we can. The season should be roughly the same length as Season 1, and once again we'll aim to have a mid-season break.

We'll start to seed out our first Season 2 lorebook additions in December, which will tease some of the new storylines you can expect.

Shift to monthly tiers

We promised this a little while ago but it's taken us longer than anticipated to get to it - apologies for the delay! 

But just as a reminder / a notice for our amazing new followers who've joined us since; from tomorrow we'll be shifting to a monthly Patreon payment process. This will mean you lovely lot end up getting more bang for your buck (since you'll be getting the same benefits but paying monthly, not fortnightly, during each season) and it'll also help us to keep working reliably on the show between seasons, so hopefully it'll be good news all around!

As part of those changes, there'll be some extra tiers with cool new bits and pieces - but as we've previously confirmed, you won't lose out on anything you're already getting.

Eskew ad-free episodes

Tomorrow we're also going to begin uploading ad-free episodes of I Am In Eskew right here onto Patreon (available to all tiers). This will mean you get a flurry of notification emails, apologies!

We'll aim to put out 5 episodes per week (on a Sunday) for the next six weeks until we're done. We'll also create a handy hub page to make it easier for you to access the eps.

Intercon

Skeleton Crew RPG session

And finally, we (Muna and Jon) were lucky enough to take part in a horror-audio-drama-peeps RPG session for Halloween, kindly organised by Cole Weavers of The Town Whispers and DM-ed by Mark Anzalone of Maeltopia.
