What’s Next? Season 2, End Of Season Stuff, Other Exciting News, Patreon Tiers

Dear friends, supporters, and incredible Patrons,

As you've probably spotted, we’re about to come to the end of Season One of The Silt Verses, and we can hardly believe it. It’s been a thrilling start to The Silt Verses, to the rise of the Trawlerman - and there’s no river we’d rather have drowned in.

We’ve been lucky to work with such a diverse and talented cast, who have come together and recorded via Zoom sessions, in home studios and blanket forts across the world. More than anything, their excitement is what made us less afraid to throw The Silt Verses out there.

And then there’s you - each and every one of you. Listeners from across the world that we sometimes dare call fans. Who have supported this little known, naively ambitious audio drama dreamt up by two people who imagined I Am in Eskew was only a fluke.

Thank you for cheering us on - with your enthusiasm, your support and your Patreon contributions. We committed to paying every contributor to The Silt Verses long before launch; voice actors, audio editors and those incredible artists whose art we’ve used or commissioned.

You as Patrons allowed us to make this financially feasible, and have given us the opportunity to do more and go further than we ever thought possible.

Season 2

...yes, that’s right. We’re thrilled to formally announce there will be a Season 2 and we’re already hard at work writing it! (Like this one, it’ll be around 15 episodes long.)

We’ll be releasing more information soon about the intended start date & further details.

This season has been a joy to work on as our first full-cast production - and there's so much more we have in store for Season 2, including additional and improved production.

What else will change:

Patreon Tiers

We’ll also be rejigging the Patreon Tiers for Season Two. We’ve done a lot of thinking and some research, and we think the following changes will not only make this a more enjoyable experience, it will also mean you’ll be getting more back for your support.

Most importantly, we’ll be moving to a monthly payment Tier.

Right now, you amazing Patrons have been paying per creation - which means you were supporting us with twice-monthly offerings.

From the end of Season 1 onwards, we'll move to a monthly payment scheme. For Season 2, we will continue to release 2 episodes per month (every fortnight) - but you’ll only be paying once per month.

We will not be increasing the cost of your current tiers, and you'll continue to get exactly the same Patreon access and benefits that your tier already provided.

And in the meantime, we are going to introduce more of everything, more tiers, more content and more access.

This includes Patreon-exclusive stand-alone episodes, set in The Silt Verses’ world. Hear how Faulkner’s first Prayer and sacrifice shaped him. Understand exactly what happened the day the state executed Carpenter’s parents. And learn how a God is born.

These and other stories will be shared with our Patrons only, alongside AMAs, RPG sessions and more access to creators and cast.

And that’s not all, as the Eskew Productions world continues to expand, we bring you….

So Long, Good Luck

At around closing time at an unnamed London art gallery, visitors and staff alike find themselves baffled - then increasingly horrified - when the power unexpectedly drops out.

Phone signals fail. The streets and roads are still. Reality itself seems to shift and alter without warning.

And even the night sky outside seems to have been snuffed out...

As the horrible Painter hunts them through the pitch-black corridors and hallways of the gallery, our isolated and scattered survivors attempt to find their way to safety.

As it becomes increasingly clear that the world itself may not survive this cataclysmic event, we also come to understand that the mysterious, hypnotically beautiful abstract painting known as ‘So Long, Good Luck’ may be at the heart of all of this…

We’re very excited to reveal that we’re also working on a limited, four-episode mini-series - pure cosmic horror.

We hope to release it during our hiatus period, to keep everyone entertained while we work on more Verses - the idea is that it’ll go out as a Patreon-exclusive (for all tiers), and then a public release at a later date in 2022.

Can't wait for you to hear it!

Any questions?

If you have any questions or thoughts, please don’t hesitate to message us or post below - we'll endeavour to respond as quickly as possible!

And once more, from the bottom of our hearts - thank you for supporting us. The river will rise again.

Amazing! This is such great news. And RPG sessions you say? Exciting! I have to admit I have also been thinking up a campaign set in your universe (well, adjacent, mixed with another setting), I'll be really intrigued to hear the 'official' one!

Amazing news! I’m so excited to hear all of the wonderful things you guys have cooked up. As someone in school to become a museum professional, I am equal parts thrilled and terrified to listen to So Long, Good Luck 😂

This is all super exciting and delightful!! Season Two being official will put me in a cheerful mood the whole weekend haha, and So Long, Good Luck is immediately intriguing. Also RPG sessions!! I've been writing a one shot to run with friends based in TSV's world, potentially seeing something official only intensifies the hype!
