2025-02-22 03:44:53 +0000 UTCThis is absolutely my favorite era of South Park. Seasons 12-14 have some genuinely great social commentary particularly regarding the issues of the times. South Park has always been good at this ofc, but this was really when they perfected it imo. Another episode from Season 13 that I love for its commentary is Pinewood Derby; much like this one it has an obscenely stupid premise (far dumber in fact) that goes in a direction you do NOT see coming, and it is kind of incredible. It also is hilarious, but that's a given.
