The first movie is the best introduction to Terence and Philip but if you guys are saving that reaction for a special occasion, you get a good introduction to South parks opinion of Canada in the episodes "Christmas in Canada" and "Royal Pudding".

2025-02-04 12:27:21 +0000 UTC23:36 "I've never been a Ben Affleck fan, there's something about his face." 😂😂😂 Watch "How to Eat with Your Butt," an earlier episode, to see why that's so funny. Keep it in mind. Another one to watch is "Going Native" where Butters and Kenny go through it, and the Ben Affleck subject is tangentially involved. Matt and Trey did not like Ben either when they did this Jennifer episode, thus the diss of "no talent." But in "Going Native" they really tell you what they really think, at the time.

The episode that introduces Terrance and Phillip is Season 2 Ep 1 and it was so hated that they referenced the hate in a later episode. Better to get introduced to them (and Canadians) by watching the 1999 South Park movie imo. Since the movie was meant for old & new fans you won't be lost in any way.
