The training he did was the 'walking on the path' thing where he sees the history of the Soul King with his limbs getting removed. The end credit scene where Ichigo screamed, bubbled up and his eyes changed is where he got his power from the training. The Squad Zero members just said that the Soul King took a liking to him. They only skipped one of the Squad Zero giving Ichigo his new woven clothing. They never said Ichigo was going to meet the Soul King. And you mistook a Quincy for Aizen and then didn't recognize Aizen when they showed him sealed in the chair in Muken - the underground prison. You misunderstood a lot of episode 21.
