I've seen Bleach before and even I forgot that kid was Shūhei Hisagi until you two mentioned he was "69-420" ha. Also "kido" is the magic spells that soul reapers are able to use. So the kido squad is an entity that specializes in such abilities instead of the use of zanpakutos like the 13 court guard sqauds seem to.
