I think this level was made pretty fast. Inbetween there was also the game over animation for level 1 if I remember this right. So a year might be accurate, otherwise I would have said a year and a half. Yes, this amount of detail and animation takes time. And I can only work part of the week on my games, because I have a job to pay my rent. The money I make here is also very important so I can work less days at my main job and stay motivated.
