My Apple developer code signing certificate thingy expired and so I had to get a new one and jump through a bunch of hoops to get that working. I want to make sure there are no issues before publishing the public release so any confirmation that this works would be appreciated!

Original: Hello everyone!

Here is the pre-release for version 0.11! Windows and Linux builds are attached to this post. Download and extract them to play! Unfortunately there will be a small delay getting the pre-release to MacOS this time around, my apologies.

This is a pretty small update, with a focus on improving endless mode. You can now select a level type and size, so there are far more options than before! I have made the decision to remove the old pre-made endless medium map however. I plan on re-adding pre-made endless maps in the future, but for now to keep things simple I will be sticking to procedurally generated maps. Remember you can click on a high score to use the same seed that that score used!

In endless you'll also find that items respawn as you collect notebooks, new students will enter the level every so often and you can now answer bonus questions after collecting notebooks!

Those aren't the only changes, but I'll leave the rest for you to find!

This is a late reply, but I think a good solution would be a price increase for restocks, so high-end items can't be farmed easily.

I found a bug: When you try to put in baldi anti hearing tape for the 2nd time you'll notice that tape player is closed. Also please add some more hiding spots, this is hide'n'seek right?

I feel like the restock button in Johnny's store is overpowered in hide and seek. I had a lot of you thought points and I just kept on refreshing and got an inventory and storage locker full of overpowered items in almost every game of hide and seek I did.

Do you read that? I have a few suggestions for changes: 1. alarm clock would make noice until it stops making noice 2. Baldi shouldn't forgot sounds, when he is in wormhole 3. I feel like Baldi should speed up way slower than it is now 4. small type on endless mode shouldn't have the same distance of notebooks respawn as in bigger levels

That's strange, what key were you trying to map it to? If you need to force the controls to the defaults, you should be able to select the set defaults option in the control mapper, or press and hold the control key for five seconds immediately after launching the game.

Two bugs i'd like to report 1. Ceiling light sources like lamps can spawn on top of and clip through exit signs near elevators 2. In hide and seek Level 5 Factory Seed -722160342 There are two conveyor belt rooms instead of one. Going through the corner conveyor room is required to get one of the notebooks.

suggestions: johnny's shop should have a color and pattern on the map in endless mode, and the map icon for super doors should be unique so you can tell it apart from a swinging door

bug: when the gravity flipping event starts while you're inside of a vent, the camera will clip outside of the vent letting you see the entire map until you leave the vent

I don’t know if this is intentional or not but in the tutorial, once you start going through the maze the map will suddenly show you the full maze instead of only showing what you passed

suggestions: i think the mouse cursor hand should be wearing the super stretchy glove when its equipped.also i think you should make it a different color, maybe pink, because at the moment its pretty similar in color to other items like diet bsoda and the heart key.

Great update, but I think I found a bug. Endless Large Laboratory Seed: -1051654691 I'm pretty sure when you give a lost item to a student, it starts with 75, but when I gave an item to a student, it gave me 225 points, might of not helped the fact that when I arrived at Ms. Pomp's class, she gave me 285 points, then in the Factuly room right next to it, was a gold plus which gave me 300 points which now I relise should of given me 100 points instead.

I really love this update! Endless mode is now more fun than it was before! I like how students and items spawn the further you go. The restock is also cool and useful. My favorite part are the items. I love their neat mechanics and wacky sound effects! A fantastic update!

I wanted to report a bug. In level 2 when you have the maintanance(or however it's spelled) the little blue arrow is on the floor and doesn't move when I press the switch. I haven't played this version so much so i don't know about other bugs but hey you should make something cost cheaper than usual. Make the restocking 10 YTPs. And also put my profile picture in the game as a poster with a low spawn rate and text below it saying "Siim78000" in 0.11 or 0.11.1(imagine if he does it). Thank you for making an awesome game.

Haven't really seen this said, so here's my own piece of feedback: I think there should be a caveat to the invisibility elixir, since it's basically every other method of stealth in the game (Lights out, chalk, etc.) But with no limitations. Having a potential downside would make for a more interesting dynamic and add another layer to the stealth gameplay. But then again, maybe that's just me.

Hello Mystman12 I'm a very big fan from China and I am very willing to go with you to provide some suggestions on behalf of Chinese players. The first point regarding the maintenance floors is that the difficulty of the maintenance floors in the current version is really too high, especially when trying to maintain on the fifth floor, it becomes almost unplayable. Therefore, I think the upper limit of electric circuits should be increased; it could be raised from the original 3 to 4, or the number of classrooms needing maintenance could be reduced a bit, so that maintaining this floor would be more balanced. The second point is concerning the placement of features on the fourth and fifth floors towards the school house. Although doing this will make the game more interesting, it is very unfriendly to game balance. I believe the occurrence of faculty-only super doors should be reduced, and even if they do appear, they should not block important routes for players. The third point is to adjust the probability of obtaining 'An apple for Baldi' from completing the camping mini-game to 100%. The fourth point is to reduce the likelihood of duplicate items appearing in Johnny's shop, to diversify as much as possible and to ensure that at least one item requiring high Ytps (at least 500 Ytps) appears (excluding between the first and second layers) and to increase the probability of generating some useful items (such as BSODA, An Apple for Baldi, Grappling Hook) That's all and i hope the game will get better and better!

This update is small but cool but can you add Small for the other floor types besides schoolhouse as it could probably be exclusive just to that mode I want to see small versions of those floor type as you can make the small versions exclusive to this mode as I have already seen the sizes from hide and seek and so I want to have a unique size of these floor types I have never seen before.

I'm really enjoying this update! The new items add a lot of really cool strategy possibilities into the game, such as using lockers and water fountains from far away, reaching far items, being able to move while hiding, easily losing characters, etc! I also really like how the last notebook has a bonus question now so we have more cool ways to fight coin doors and stuff! I've always seen Endless Mode as very underrated and hard to learn. I die from random stuff a lot as Endless Mode makes you rush a lot more than usual, but about once in every 10 times I have a very fun and intense run where I'm barely surviving as Baldi becomes faster than every other character! The clicking high scores for their seeds feature definitely helps with having more fun with this mode. I only tried each level type once in Endless Mode, but when the full release comes out and I'm back on my usual save I'll definitely practice on some seeds! Also, did you make Gotta Sweep faster because you wanted to make the Techno Boots better? Follow your dreams. It's your game, mystman! Alsoso, could you get Baldi's slap distance at the end of Floor 4 under control?! He's slower then your running speed and I'm able to juke him in detention, and he was faster than your running speed on Floor 3 and I was NOT able to juke him in detention, which I liked. Is the game like supposed to be harder on later levels or what? lolollllll

Is it possible if you could add back The Test’s old first spotted sound and function? In his old behavior, his head slowly went up and after his head finished rising, his character freezing started. It gave him its charm. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. Your amazing game, not mine! Edit. Not asking you to revert his behavior, just wondering if you could add back that “first spotted” head rise and sound it made while doing so. I honestly love his new behavior more than the old one.

I personally think there should be specific sounds for certain things that respawn in Endless Mode.

So I played endless mode in every size and type combination a few times and there definitely are improvements there, yet there's a lot of fine tuning needed to be done for it to really work well. I don't really like how the endless maps pretend to be the main levels as much as possible, with the medium and large levels having more than 1 exit for some reason, Baldi moving faster in the level types since he travels further per slap (at least I think he does), like he does in level 4 and 5, large schoolhouse having 1 shape lock while other large levels have 2, and the small size being available only for the schoolhouse level since it imitates level 1. There should be more consistancy for endless mode specifically. The level sizes also should get a few changes, mainly notebook respawn speed and character amount. Every level has exacly 7 characters (baldi, principal and 5 random characters). It's good on medium maps, but it should be incerased for large levels (maybe 9 total, 7 random characters) and decerased for the small map (maybe 6 total, 4 random characters). Notebooks should respawn WAY faster in the small map, waiting minutes for notebooks isn't particularly fun. The large levels could maybe slow it down, since when notebooks start respawning I usually still need to search half of the level for classrooms. There's also some smaller things I wanna mention like how vending machines should have incerased stock for endless mode so that respawning quarters won't get worse later on. Being able to buy the map fill from Johnny would also be appreciated, primarily for the large levels, so that I spend less time just walking around barely collecting notebooks. Final thing about endless mode I wanna mention, sadly I don't think the level types are that fun in endless mode. Factory does kinda work since it's mechanics don't affect the pace too much, but slow paced levels like Laboratory and it's teleports are just too slow for a game mode where you need to be fast, so usually I can't really collect as many notebooks as I would in the Schoolhouse. This ESPECIALLY applies to Maintenance, the power mechanic is fine in hide and seek, but it just doesn't work out in endless mode at all, it's genuinely more efficient to just activate 3 classrooms and just leave it there, since it's too time consuming to mess around with the power lines, and overloading the breaker isn't ever worth it whatsoever in endless. Definitely will need some tweaks if there's any hope of making it fun. For now I'll stick to Schoolhouse, and maybe try Factory sometimes. That's all I have for endless mode, despite all the criticism, it's the most fun i've had with this mode in years, so I think it's a job well done in the end and I hope to see it improved and polished further. I'll mention some other things to finish this off. Level type structures in levels 2 and 3 definitely improves those levels, the steam valves don't really fit the schoolhouse levels, but this kinda adds that charm where things just seem off to the game, would be neat if the later levels mixed things up, specifically level 5. I like the new restock feature in Johnny's store, though I got confused and at first as I thought it would just place new items in place of the sold items, not just reroll the whole stock. Actual new items finally, I think the stretchy glove should allow picking up items while squished like someone else mentioned. No new rooms, not too big of a problem it's just that I'm a little tired of that L shaped classroom and same character specific rooms, hope to see some more variety added there, I think the game really needs it. Bubs isn't in the game yet what are you doing. As for bugs, the first student in the small endless map gave me 0 ytps, it only happened once, on another run the first student gave me 450 ytp, that's more than normal. Level generation on large maps both in endless and hide and seek seems to be off sometimes, once i've had a large bottleneck but I don't have the seed but I do have the seed for a Large Laboratory endless map that has a hallway that makes it possible to skip one of the faculty only super doors. -1213065392 That's all the feedback I thought of sharing right now, I really didn't expect to write a big wall of text like this, but I hope some of this will be taken into consideration.(unless the wall of text is too big to read) I rate the update 5.87/6.51 packs of nerds candy (grape & strawberry)

Hey I have some feedback about one of the new features in endless mode, that being the bonus questions. Mainly that they are a little bit overpowered. I tend to just answer 2 questions at once instead of leaving and coming back later if the notebook hasn't respawned (the latter of which I assume was the intended reason it was added).

I also have similar thought about the first one. Adding a timer for the bonus question in Endless Mode (like 20 seconds) can be a solution, but I'm not sure.

The line "No activity notebooks do not reward any YTPs in endless mode." sounds like normal notebooks giving the player You Thought Points in Endless Mode. Removing the first 'No' can make it less confusing.

Here are 2 pieces of feedback I want to give: 1. I think it doesn't make sense for a Math Machine to immediately offer a bonus question after collecting a notebook. Now, you get to stall Baldi for about twice as long as before, and you get 150 YTPs instead of 75, which is a bit much. I'm not even sure about how bonus questions could be added into Endless Mode in a sensible way, at least off the top of my head, considering that the respawn function basically gives a bonus question plus a notebook. 2. Johnny should say lines when you press the restock button. Obviously, he'd be happy if you have at least 250 YTPs and unhappy if otherwise.

Great update so far! have not experienced any bugs in hide and seek yet. i hope it stays that way. I prefer hide and seek mode over endless mode so I do not know if there are any in there. Edit, I remembered there being a bug from the previous pre release and it is on this one too. It will not let me zoom in nor out when I use my controller. It have to use the button on the map. It does not do this on the actual game, only the pre releases. Nothing serious, just thought to let you know.

First of all, I wasn't expecting this! But I tried the pre-release. It is pretty awesome so far! but I did encounter somewhat of a notorious bug while playing. When I tried mapping out my Advanced Map button to my preferred keybind, at first it looked like it didn't change, so I tried changing it again... and again... and again... but in reality it did, and now whatever I do in the game opens the advanced map no matter what I do.
