Devlog #37

Hello everyone, lately my focus is all over the place. I've been awfully busy and couldn’t really find energy to write anything. But here I am.

As you may know, we were working with a publisher on Kalyzmyr, even though it was a great experience and they were an awesome publisher to work with, we couldn’t agree on some parts of the contract so we decided to part our ways. I’ll publish Kalyzmyr under our Steam page after our partner account is accepted, but it’s already on our Itch page.

As for the progress with Kalyzmyr, I’ve been crunching for a while to finish it and I believe it offers a lot in the current WIP build(which is not yet published). Unfortunately the disagreement we had with the publisher distracted me, and the current WIP build is not fully playable, but I’ll update the current public build as soon as it’s in playable state. There are tons of upcoming changes and it’s going to feel a lot different than before. I’m really excited to share this with players as soon as I can.

 For those who don’t know, I’ve been working on a small side project in the meantime while I’m developing Kalyzmyr, and it’s almost ready to be released on Early Access as well! We are not going to put it on Steam yet, as you might’ve noticed I updated our Patreon goal for the Dekamara Steam release. As soon as we hit 100$/month we’ll be releasing it on Steam. Until then, the game will be available on Itch for free.

 I originally planned on working with other artists on this project, since it was really easy for me to make simple games like this, I didn’t want to take ShySeel’s time so that she could focus on Kalyzmyr. Unfortunately, our experience with freelancers didn’t really go as well as hoped, so she had to help with Dekamara as well, which slows the process a bit.
