Added 2025-02-06 20:36:58 +0000 UTCSo, some of you may have noticed the Part 3 sketches have yet to arrive, and Part 2 completed has not landed on Patreon or reddit, that is because things are in total chaos behind the scenes, lmao.
I've been instructed by the r/comics mod team to rewrite sections of this comic or add padding pages to assure reddit admins that the climax of this arc does not indeed portray Mr. Musk being harmed, (the original script for RECKONING did not depict a sequence in which he is harmed, however the cliffhanger page had implied a dark turn.) The subreddit is currently on high alert, under extreme scrutiny from admins, and is in the process of recruiting more moderators to help stabilize things.
The artists have been informed that the subreddit is one of several embroiled in a feud with Elon Musk, meaning he is likely aware of the controversial comics posted this week that either broke reddit TOS or contained extreme criticism. I've been told if I insist on continuing to produce "RECKONING," I must be extremely careful with the narrative and imagery. I have confidence I can successfully illustrate an encounter between Elk and Elon without crossing a line.
Also, a reminder to anyone here who is a frequent commenter on r/comics, DO NOT USE LANGUAGE THAT CAN BE INTERPRETED AS ADVOCATING FOR VIOLENCE. You will likely be banned immediately.
I will do my darnedest to produce a full comic, but things are beyond sketchy right now. I'll of course keep you posted, and thank you so, so much for y'alls support!

I agree with the TOS that language should not incite violence, but with the recent banning of a bunch of subs due to "no moderation," this feels like a set up to control the narrative of the current regime. I was scrolling facebook the other day, and saw a "true story" about how Musk kindly offered to help a batista and buy their kids a birthday present. This was so obviously propaganda, and for once the comments on fb were actually recognizing it, but plenty were praising Musk for his "kind" actions. This is scary.
